Kirasa Beta Tester 1,520 posts 1,524 battles Report post #2 Posted July 7, 2015 No, it only ups your rendering range of spotted enemies by 20% (the white cone on the Minimap), so if a friendly spots an enemy far away from you you can still see them instead of just an empty indicator on the minimap. Maybe IJN as I had them only to Fuso. Shimakaze, Kagerou (20km torps, 16.5km render range) Though...just use Concealment on them... Its always funny when you hit something outside of render range though...not so much when its a friendly. Shimakaze has 15km range on those top torps doesnt it? The Torps may only have a range of 15km, but if the enemy drives into them it is still a hit. And you might still hit any unseen Cruiser or DD by pure chance. Just don't hit allies.
