What are your "keepers" (per tier/class) ?

Hi all,

 

Topic title should be self-explanatory really.

Are there ships in the different tech trees you consider as a keeper?

Which one(s)? why?

 

Thus far I enjoy the St. Louis and the Tenryu (both Tier 3) most but I have not seen anything beyond tier 4 myself thus far.

Having said this; I think I'll keep these ships for now.

 

Which ships you feel are more enjoyable than most others?

Keep the Minekaze , Its an awesome DD,

Keep the Kongo/Fuso/Nagato , they are awesome Battlecruisers/Battleships ,

Keep the Cleveland, Its OP as Hell.

until now its only kongou... in cbt my keepers were minekaze, aoba, zuihou and mogami. i think i will keep them all in obt too.

I will deffinetly keep the St. louise at tier 3, Isokaze at tier 4, Kongo at tier 5, Cleveland at tier 6, Nagato at tier 7, No idea about tier 8. Iowa at tier 9, Des Moines at tier 10. This is if I had to choose 1 pr. tier.

But tehre are a lot more that I will keep.

My final port will most likely be something like this:

 

1. Minekaze, truly the epitome of IJN DDs

 

2. USN DD, either Clemson or Nicholas

3. Cleveland, just so that I can get those annoying shoot x amount of planes missions done

4. Arkansas Beta, not gonna play it most likely, but never sell a free premium.

5. Maybe USN DD line to grind up slowly to top, but most likely leaving empty for RN

6. Empty for RN or Kriegsmarine

From my experience in CBT, I'll keep Clemson, Minekaze, Fubuki, Omaha, Cleveland, Aoba, Myoko, Mogami and, if I ever decide to start the BB branch, the Kongo. I only reached tier IX in cruisers and enjoyed them both, so probably will keep them as well, even though I could only play them for a few battles.

no experince with tier 9 and 10 during CBT. But as I'm a casual scrub, dunno if I'm ever gonna go to tier 10.

I plan on keeping everything, but that's just something I do.

If I had to pick and choose from those I have experience with, excluding obvious tier X ships: Mogami, Minekaze, Fubuki and Kongo.

So far I'm enjoying Cleveland, nice AA, okay speed and agility, with these 12x152 spam is real, though hitting things at 16km+ becomes quite tricky

I'll probably rebuy Umikaze at some point, kept Tenryu. Tier 4 is crowded enough in my harbor with Arkansas and Yubari, for tier 5 I have Gremmy and might keep Kongo. Tier 6... Warspite is in the harbor, either Cleveland or Aoba will join it there. Havn't decided on tier 7 yet, the Sims might be the only one there. For Tier 8 I definitely want the Atago as soon as it's on purchase again and at some point Bismarck/Tirpitz, maybe also keep Mogami, but that is a big maybe or very long term. Tier 9 and 10 - everything that I unlock will stay in harbor

Im slowly getting to Hakuryu, no need to rush though, I much prefer games with more players (I don't like 6v6 games, I prefer 10+vs10+).

Yubari and Atago as premiums and crew trainers for my future Zao captain (second line that I am going to go for)

Isokaze / Minekaze (haven't decided yet which one)

 

USN:

Maybe BBs, not sure yet (Iowa is the goal probably).

I would love to get Essex and Midway, but I just cannot go through the midd tiers.

I can't get past how much I dislike Nagato so I doubt I'll ever reach Yamato. Without paying money (which I inevitably will I expect)

 

Lower tiers... Meh, nothing is fun. I kept the lowest tier US battleship just so I could division with low tier friends, but I can't even remember it's name so I had no love for the slow gun bucket.
