That's true to an extent. It turns decently fast once it starts turning. It takes ages for the rudder to take effect and once you're at full rudder your turn is quite predictable. Not to mention that I have been (a couple of times) practically taken out of the battle as I was dodging torps that never really came. I used the same trick from time to time. You can even use use "empty" torp bombers to make a BB turn wildly allowing weaker ships (cruisers) to shoot it without getting blow up. All you need to do is keep planes far enough not to be decimated by AA. That trick becomes harder at higher tiers due to better and longer range AA. Sure you can play that game, but in the end your not doing any damage and at best can prevent the BB from doing the same, while losing both time and focus from stuffs that your actually rewarded for. And unless the enemy CV and cruisers is already dealt with hanging around with torp bombers in the same area is a huge flashing red sign asking to get them shot down by fighters or nearby AA Cruisers in short order.
