Well the servers are being stressed tested so you might be hitting peak times when they are near/over capacity. Or there might be a bad connection between your IP and the WOWS server (jambed or down node) Or there might be a hardware config problem. Phroco Beta Tester 78 posts 5,771 battles Report post #14 Posted July 1, 2015 I had all sorts of issues earlier this evening with lag etc. Pinging 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS) showed my connection was fine, under 20ms ping. I then fired up Wireshark and could see I was connecting to 92.223.24.31 for WoWS. I restarted the client, it connected to 92.223.24.54 and all was golden. I suspect they had (at least) one server oversubscribed or with some sort of fault. It's always worth getting out of the game and then back in again just in case. I move for 3 seconds, then stop dead, then shoot forward, then 3 seconds of normal play, rinse and repeat. You can play but it makes aiming and dodging very hard and normally I just get wrecked without doing much damage. Its been getting worse with each new patch. I'm used to have solid 55fps and suddenly it drops a lot...4fps, 8...sometimes 1! It's not my internet connection, as I checked it earlier with my isp and I'm running the game on a GTX 750 TI. Yeah it totally is, im getting severe lagspikes, i lag out and cant control my ship, ping shows in six numbers.. Lagged out from between 20 to 30 seconds. Totally my internet. [GOUF] RambaRal Beta Tester 337 posts 7,140 battles Report post #19 Posted July 2, 2015 While it's not my case as I can play without any problem, my brother is having problems similar to OP: at his home he can play correctly with WoT and DOTA2 and WoWs as well but sometimes (expecially during thhe last 3 evenings) he has lagspikes that totally prevent him from playing. Considering that WoWs is the only game where this happens (and it's not even a constant) and that his Internet speed test is OK, I am lead to belive that the issue is something server-side related. Dethanu Players 2 posts 339 battles Report post #23 Posted July 2, 2015 Yeah i have the same issues on my machine as well. when i`m near my team my fps is around 75-85 fps but when i see enemy ships and enemy ships start firing my fps drops to 25-30 fps and the sound in-game starts to stutter badly and it's unplayable atm this moment.
