While the missions for the tokens will have ended, you are (probably) allowed to spend the tokens during the early acces phase - which lasts two updates, that is 12.4 and 12.5. If you need them and the PT to get the boaster for T8, I assume you may still be able to buy them after the patch, and it's just mission finishing but not sure? Usually that is the case - yes (i.e. after initial introductory patch there is patch when you can use the tokens but no longer obtain it and in the 3rd patch the ships become available to all in normal manner)...
