P.S.

I am now around 145 opened so-called "Supercontainers" and without a ship as a reward... just 15+ more for guaranteed drop (i.e. "Pity / Mercy Rule")... It has been years since me getting a ship from it... :Smile_sad:

That is an other clear fraud by WG. I explain with numbers.

In the 7 years of the game 6 years we have containers with coal at at first (and Musashi 1st coal ship).

In the 6 years I play EVERY day so I have an average cantainer opening 2.5 . So 2.5 x 365 = 912,5 then i had more or less is 1% to have a ship of any tier i should have atleast 7 ships by now but instead i have only one last year.

This might a nerf to Anniversary event, but I kinda expected that since have so many T10 now

 

However, double the drop rate and half the rewards are ok to me. Roughly the same as it is now. RB points drop is very welcome, since that currency is the hardest to earn

Super container 🤣😂🤣😂,  really when are they coming out then ?,  because in no way are they currently SUPER containers, in 5 years I’ve never had a ship, just countless flags/signals and premium time.

 

I get at least 3 a month (clan bonus etc) and mediocre containers would be a more apt description. 
 

So further degradation of the game then 🤔.  W2G WG.

I think your calculation is flawed.

 

You need 100 points for a supercontainer. Try your luck containers fill 4.5 of those points each. So you will need ~23 try your luck containers for a supercontainer. And you can have 165 of those before you get a ship.

 

Playing 365 days a year for 6 years and receiving 3 try your luck containers each day will yield a total of 6570 try your luck containers. And those only provide enough points for ~286 super containers or ~1.7 ships (minimum).

Your calculation is half correct Mate if we still get one container on anniversary for Tier X ship after nerf this is lost of at least 50% and FXP and CXP is also good reward

I'm trying to finish grinding 7 more T10 ships in time for the anniversary SC drop. I got few T7 premiums ships; coal and even steel drops in last years event.

 

Looks like its not worth the effort anymore. One reason I don't mind spending money on this game was WG gives out decent rewards for F2P players, I was one for the 1st year. So I don't mind help keep WG profits rolling.

 

But now, with even more predatory gambling, 3 random bundles going on at the same time right now, with reducing each random bundle cost and increasing the no of total bundles (pan American cruisers event), WOWS is turning into a casino prying on the weak willed, with ships as the main attraction, hence why WG is pumping them out at even faster pace with no intentions to balance them into the game (subs).

 

Add this to the ever reducing rewards to our follow F2P players, I think I will skip all the premium BP and dockyard events this year, I have all the premium ships I even wanted to play already.

at begin of last update I do same thing I grind 5 lines CL/CA to Lvl 10 now I doing 6 and this will be lest is not worth anymore

And WG officially posted these number only one or two years ago. Who knows what was chance before this and if this mechanic worked differently than.

True, I was only considering the daily containers. Anything extra that is 1 old for 1 new, is a hard loss (for me).

Ah. But by then, the number of available TX ships will have doubled. WG is copypasting ship lines and TX premium clones like Judgement Day is on the doorstep.

The compensation above is disgraceful. Not only is the rarity of a ship drop increased, but you only get 7500 coal as compensation??

 

This is one of the most pathetic schemes I have seen in a while!!! WG appear to have lost it. It punishes anyone who has spent money and owns ships already. The compensation MUST be the price of the ship in doubloons. It shows once and for all how little WG value paying veterans of the game. This is what they think of us. Nothing.

Musashi is either priceless or worthless depending your circumstances. Can't get it for any price (unless you go for the scammy satan box way), but if you sell it, you only get 1 credit for it.

Supercontainers haven't been "Super" for many years. Remember the time when they actually could drop something nice? When a Supercontainer was actually exiting to receive? Maybe time to change that name to "Random container".

Yep...  I remember... I started F2P and got 2-3x 20M Credits from those old "Supercontainers"... those really meant something and made a difference... :Smile_honoring:

The main problem is the removal of doubloons and premium time. These were the best reward for F2P players. So WG goes even harder for the money. crap, he won't see a dime from me. There are so many other games.....

Not really to be honest and haven't been for years. Its free stuff and that's always nice but they are far from exciting. Back in the day you could get a ship from a regular Supercontainer and it actually dropped now and then. Now it seems you have a better chance of winning the Euro lottery.

Supercontainers seems to be way down on the scale, where you have a platter of loot boxes sitting above and, on the top, the Mega Loot box that we usually can purchase is more like what Supers were back in the day.

 

So super isn't super anymore.

That's pretty much how I feel about it. It's making the anniversary event worse, but that's not really a problem since it disproportionally affects the players that have a lot of tier 10 ships anyway and practically have everything they could need anyway. Sure it's a bit sad that I'll be getting less stuff (since the event was far too OP anyway) but it is what it is.
