Seriously another one blaming manipulated matchmaking instead of your own lack of competence, whining that your team doesn't reliably carry your lazy :etc_swear:?

It's not the team. It's not the matchmaking.

Instead of leaving you could instead join @Andrewbassg and @Aethervoxx with their self-help group "super-unicums of hearts". Minimum requisite is a pair of oversized shoes and the ability to fit in a very tiny car, but somehow I have no doubt you will manage.

PS: Not defending supershits, CVs nor subs, don't get me wrong...

Dears, with this ticket I announce that the way the game is structured, myself and I hope that many others will join over time, will no longer waste time and money for this game. You have a matchmaking which, due to the way it is structured, does not guarantee fairness between the teams facing each other, not to mention the quality of the players on the pitch. You are no longer inventive, too bad I really liked this game and you managed to ruin it over time. Luckily there are others much more serious than yours to whom I will devote my time and money. Kind Regards Krotonx1

This is more of a playerbase issue rather than WG itself. You can be angry on WG about subs, CVs , T11s, hybrids. These are WG decisions.... But bad players that don't want to learn to play? Nah mate.

Don't get me wrong, there were always bad players, I was one of them tbh. But back then people at least tried to get better, to learn the game. I remember myself and other bad players doing 20-30k dmg on T7 ships. It was considered bad and it's still is. But now? I see guys in T6-7 cruisers after 30 battles on their ships doing 7-8k dmg.... Idk what they're doing during the battle, that's below the level of bad 7 years ago. Meeting a guy with 37-38% WR in the past was rare, today is almost an everyday thing to see 2-3 of such.

There's more active accounts having 45% WR and below, they're playing and will still be playing regardless of WG decisions. The good players are playing way less often and many left the game. That's why you'll see more and more of those kind of useless players and the new playerbase is far worse from the one back in 2016-17.

You can blame WG that many good players (and even average ones too) left the game because of their decisions, that's fair. But blaming the bad players and labelling it as WG? That's a bit ignorant. Especially if someone will go and look at you own clan. People doing 17k dmg in 6k battles? Is that ok to you? You're then the part of the problem. And I'll tell you something - good players and unicuums are sick and tired of carrying your rear end every single game. If you wanna win then you start to play better. And I refer here to your friends rather than you cause I can't tell how you play when you hide your profile. Instead of complaining that the playerbase is bad maybe you should have a self reflection first, cause you're not better. Start with yourself. Just like I did back in late 2016, pulled up my 47% to 61% that I currently have, from 700 PR to 1778.

But instead you prefer to run and pretend you're not a part of the problem. Well....

I concur with @KillStealBoss. We keep seeing those threads about how everything is wrong. People are complaining about the slightest imbalance of ship designs. This ship needs a buff cause it is 0.50% below average. That map is unbalanced. The matchmaking is terrible. A certain ship type or tier is killing the game.

At the same time we don't see any threads about game mechanics anymore. A few years ago, the forum was an interesting read. Every day I would learn a bit just reading through the forum. People were curious about how the game works. They would ask about details and veteran players would share some tactics.

These days, the forum bores me to death. All I read is people complaining constantly. It's a circle-...dance of people bullying the entire forum into sharing their bubbled opinions of "everything is WG's fault". At the same time the forum is starving for some substance, for actual information being shared. I think I haven't talked tactics in here for months, cause no topic even addresses that subject. And if you try to bring tactics and information into a topic, you get criticized heavily, cause the tactics contradict the narrative, a narrative in which all of you are good players who do not mess up regularly, and your losses are due to mistakes in game design.

Maybe it's a coincidence, but do you guys really think the increase in red teams is not linked to your general lack of interest in game tactics and properties?

I was thinking something along these lines the other day. Sure, there's always been complaining (WG are past-masters at giving the players things to get irate about), but there used to be a lot of discussion about how to do stuff as well - when I was learning, the forum would be my first port of call if something was puzzling me.

I wonder if WG's apparent 'numbers above all else' approach to attracting players means that relatively few players these days care about getting better at the game (with a nod to the fact that there is more to learn than - say - five years ago), hence the comparative die-off of 'how do I do x' type threads? In conjunction with that, recent changes (submarines most notably) may have driven away a lot of the players who would previously have tried to answer such questions...

Of course, I may just be an old git having a 'things were better when I were a lad...' type of moment.

How many of us who hang out on the forum still actually make a serious attempt to play WoWS on anything like a regular basis? My battlecount has pretty much collapsed. I play something like 1 to 3 operations on a typical day. Over the weekends I run a few randoms or coop for the Naval Battle. Until about the time of the captain skill rework and the introduction of the subs, I played a lot more, around 10 battles or so daily, regularly collecting at least two daily crates, sometimes all three. Now I barely get just the first one, not always even that.

You are good. I haven't played a single game since Christmas holidays.:Smile_honoring:

Only plan to play on some big events. I was considering to come back for new USN BB like but nahh... im not in a hurry for that actually. For me its quite enough to just remember how bad game is and not wont to come back. Simple as that.

Warzone DMZ game is fun when you play with others as a team. And Diablo 4 is less than 3 months away with open Beta next weekend:cap_cool:

For me it's quite the opposite. I am playing the game and more and more it is the only thing I do. I hardly read the forum anymore, cause the topics are so trivial in nature and repetitive. I don't watch streamers or youtubers anymore, cause it's all about some game with 400k damage and not about interesting plays. I could enjoy Jingles, cause at least he was funny. But he has become too lazy to do compilations and just does the same old replay-commentary. Many of his conclusions are actually wrong. He thinks he's an expert, when in fact he is a funny sarcastic entertainer and neglects that.

So what we are left with are narcisstic streamers on yt and twitch, and self-apologetic potatoes in the forum. None of that is a basis for any discussion.

Can I have your stuff?

Not an old UO player are you? Lol.

But, in fairness I do think there needs to be some way of matching players on each team based on their average scores. I've played loads of games where it's over in 5 minutes, or even less!

I won't be making those whiny topics on a forum tryna let the entire server know that I left and what a crybaby I am. Ya know, where I'm from, we try to raise men as men, not as low testo sissies who can't hold themselves together.

There's always been a degree of repetition (usually the perennial "I haven't understood a core game mechanic - usually spotting - and got sunk; the game is broke" type of thing), but you're right - the more 'technical' discussions have somewhat died back.

For instance, when a new line was released, there would often be discussion about - essentially - how it would fit in with everything else, good/bad points, optimal use, optimal counters and so on. As an example, the recent IJN CLs have generated comparatively little discussion, beyond that they're not very good. There hasn't been much about - say - being able to mitigate flaky manouevrability with 360 turrets; that sort of thing.

FWIW mine's cratered as well. Since submarines got pushed into Randoms, I've stopped playing the mode; this has the knock-on effect of making 'get x xp' missions more time-consuming, so I bother less with such missions; that in turn rules out some collections of missions, and so on.

I still play a bit for fun, but fewer days of the week, and for less time. Since submarines, I'm spending most of my time (and money) on other games.

So you're saying the matchmaker is completely random and not biased at all? What makes you think it is?
