Matilda - best (fastest, cheapest) way to get her?

I have absolutely no interest in Brisbane, but I'd like to get my hands on Matilda. ;)  19 pts out of the box, uhh, she's hot!

What would be the best way to get her?  Preferably free and without too much grinding involved. I'd rather not play coop (but I'll do it - for instance - to get faster over the 8 wins mission), I prefer PvP.

Sorry, unlikely, even with exchange of 20 million credits; 24,000 coal; 2,400 steel; 300,000 Free XP and 6,000 community tokens, you still need to grind or buy 250 tokens.

 

Your money or your time, choose one if you want prizes.

Grind as many tokens from the missions as you are willing to spend the time, then exchange the missing tokens from resources or doubs. 

 

Or wait until that commdaer is released for coal.

Well......we gonna have 30 days to get the missions( or some of them done) so.... there is plenty of time.So get as much tokens form the missions as possible. I hate grinds too :(

Btw I share your preference for Matilda, but for practical reasons. Brisbane will be obtainable by coal  a bit later so.....

I'll get the Brisbane now and wait for Matilda to be for coal later. I have plenty of commanders and I think she'll be for lower coal price than Brisbane.

WG confirmed that Brisbane will be available for coal later, but they didn't confirm the same for the commander. Also some ST and CC, asked privately, said they got zero info or confirmation about the commander being available for coal, but only the ship is confirmed. So yeah, maybe she will be available, maybe not. I think we have a bunch of commander that were obtainable through missions and/or Twitch drops but never made it to the armory, that's why I wouldn't count on it and go with the confirmed option. Also, everything nowadays seem to be sold for coal and coal becomes more and more valuable given the sheer amount of ships they pump out, all special commander are also for coal, special modules are coal, and so on. Don't need any more coal stuff because nobody who doesn't pump out cash to buy coal via loot boxes will ever make enough coal to buy everything they want for coal from the armory.

A 19p Matilda that only can be used on a handful of commonwealth ships is a bit useless..

Choose a nation with lots of ships. Get a 10p Dascha for 1500 dubs, apply 1477716 Elite Commander XP (or FXP) and pretend her name is Matilda

Not the same, because Matilda comes with a unique voiceover that you can use on all ships and is supposed to have some funny lines and not just the standard ones.

I think there you have it. If I understood the news correctly you will get her if you grind the Foook out of every mission, and if you miss some you can use coupon and Free XP coal to get extra Pirate coins. Or maybe buy her for a crap-ton of coal in a couple of month?! 

 

Im grinding the missions for her, not spending a dime and have ZERO interest in the Brisbane.

On the WOWS official stream last Thursday they were playing Brisbane and I can confirm Matilda is absolutely hysterical.

She has some fantastic lines, even Seraphice couldn't stop laughing every time she spoke.

Brisbane I aint worried about as it will be available for coal but I DEFINITELY want Matilda, even though it's a helluva grind!
