Brisbane - Cheapest way to acquire it

There are 2 ways to do it. 

a) Zieten, Bismarck, Tirpitz, Massa in Ranked. 1-1.3mil easily. 

b) Radar Mino in random 3-3.4mil per battle.

c) Schlieffen in COOP. Charge the center of the map. Alternative Salem in COOP. Just charge the enemies and shoot. You can clock 500-800K easily in 5 mins. And considering the alternatives in Ranked & Random you can do 3-4mil potential with Salem in 20 minutes playing COOP (4 battles) compared to the other modes. Just focus to kill the DDs and you are set.

Brisbane after 1st battle. Did worth the grind last 3 days? YES. 

Is Radar Mino with same AP but added cherry on top amazing HE. 

 

How I got it: 

Because I do not have 6000CT did all way to the 1st mission of the 5th chain. 

 

Damage received missions were done with Zieten, Bismarck in Ranked. However found out that can be done with Salem in COOP if you aren't bored. In addition those experienced with Radar Mino won't have trouble clocking 3-4mil in random per battle. 

 

All the Defence, Capture missions were done with DD in COOP. I found Huron working well. Just leave the bots go into the caps and then start shooting. Ranked & Random are the best options IF there is Domination map. If you get standard battle you lost 20 minutes. If you get Standard or Arms Race at COOP in 5 minutes you will be on the next battle. 

 

Money Mission. Azuma with red booster, random, 2 battles needed only. 

 

The rest of the missions - Citadels, Fires, Damage, etc - did them with Salem mostly in COOP. 

Those missions requiring to be on the top 5, did them with Atago  in COOP. Just pick your best ship and go them. 

 

It is a grind trying to do everything in just 3 days, but feeling it worth it. Brisbane is a great ship.

Hah... tried the second pot dmg quest in coop: wasted 1h (8 battles): got 5.5m only... (tried everything, but ai were strange, or my teammates...) then changed to random: in 4 battles earned +8m... hah... tomorrow need finishing that, then 10 coop with top5 place, few random with red fxp booster and because i bought a cv container in first days, i need a 15 def/cap ribbon from next mission chain what i hated today doing for second mission chain too, needed few battles in coop, or got a standard battle, or no bot came to capzone where i was, or my team simple didnt let the bot caping (or blocked the cap too....) :fish_palm: (well, doable, sad for no started earlier, but no wanted first time spent steel, comtoken for that ship, but coal cost will be around 250k... much cheaper now Xd)

I’m finding her to be very hard to play.

Lack of gun power means good games always seem to involve torps.

I AM DONE WITH POTENTIAL DMG! Its so random.

 

I guess I can get to the last mission tomorrow.

It's only 64% of the DPM, no improved ricochet angles, a much longer fuze and twice the armor thickness to trigger it. Quite a few differences :fish_book:

I somehow managed to finish most of the "Pirate "missions.... Ranked Silver / Gold and CoOp...:Smile_hiding:

So... I needed just 5 sets to purchase with in-game currency (30 Pirate tokens each): :Smile_coin:

I just got my Brisbane that same way. The grind was amazingly easy. Even the pot damage, I rediscovered random battles with that, hadn't touched randoms with a stick in two years. I did my 21 mil solo mostly in a Bourgogne, going in full speed through the middle guns blazing, earning 1.5 -1.8 mil pot per battle and going out after at most 5 minutes. I ended up with a 73% winrate and even finished 4th place in one of the battles and never was last.

Later in the day I helped my mate, we did the same thing now with two BBs, again a 70% winrate and we scored good damage too. Seems disruptive behaviour like that messes up the enemy teams plans (seem these days everyone runs for the flanks from start asap, not expecting two BBs coming up the middle and then being in THEIR flanks, they don't know what to do...). Was actually a lot of fun in randoms, we didnt even care about winning, but did it a lot.

 

And Brisbane is a funny little ship, that wall of skill it can throw is quite nice. Only using it in Coop though of course.

Something that surprised me, this ship loses very badly against Minotaur when bow on. Of course if you give any broadside he will citadel you before you do him.

 

Dont try to fight a Minotaur in your Brisbane.

Radar Mino is my favourite ship and the most played as well so I had to grind Brisbane.

Played only one game so far and I am pleased overall. HE makes up for lower reload when DDs are angling and running away. But longer radar range for a shorter duration is a slight nerf overall. Concealment could be closer to Minotaur.

Torps are not a reliable weapon on both. But Brisbane has better fishes.

IHMO Mino is still a bit stronger ship but  I need more games to be 100% sure.

 

For some reason Brisbane doesn't show up in WoWS stats and numbers.

WG doesn’t  support public API anymore so these websites will soon be obsolete.

I am really quite annoyed with the worse concealment, but they had to do it due to radar. Even 2 km stealth radar is extremely toxic particularly in competitive modes.

tbh i find it to be a total waste of metal.  40 hits on a dd and it was just 5k damage with he..
