Bad rudder shift and concealment put the Kyiv at a disadvantage. 2) The map Ocean doesn't allow the Kyiv to go dark, which puts him at an even greater disadvantage. 3) We dont know which submarine he faced, it could be a T10 for all we know. 4) The engagement was within a controlled environment. This particular 1on1 situation will almost never happen in a real match. 5) Crosstorping with one sub has always been possible. It doesnt just suddenly spring into existence because one emotional unstable streamer makes one video about it. 6) Even in this unrealistic situation, where there are no other objectives, the Kyiv can still win. Your HP don't matter in a fight against a sub if you can get a good attack vector on the sub. My personal conclusion: Stop eating up Flamus BS videos and spread his childish behavior. At the very least take some time and write some arguments about the situation and what you think should be done about it. You know, like a self thinking person and not a brainless disciple. edit: And please note, how I'm not actually defending submarines, their role in this game or their power balance. The Alliance better homing torps are Ok, low damage, homing stops at a reasonable distance for BB. The problem IMO is the DCP lasts far shorter than the cool down. Then there is nothing stopping sub from spamming pings. The short detection range of Alliance torpedoes don't help either as its very hard to evading them if you only DCP when they are seen without hydro. This looks OP because WG is too lazy to come up with a counter to pinging, and telling us DCP is more than fine against sub homing. I'm waiting for Pan Asian subs with deepwater homing torps that don't show up until 0.5 seconds before hitting you! 18 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
