CV and sub game design?

So many games today where I an struggling to push in when a CV and sub are there. The blowouts are occurring more regular it seems. Wargaming doesn't seem to care because they only release more (super) ships and subs... Spotting of CV's and subs should be taken care of in a different way.

 

No fun any more in these games...

WG don't consider the quality of the match as important, they'll say "your win rate balance out over time". Nevermind most teams are so imbalanced it's' not fun to play lose or win. But players who cares are the minority, those can win games with decent team support but not good enough (yet) to carry a sack of red potatoes like unicums. I'd say 52% to 55% WR players.

 

The majority 48% WR players simply don't care, they see it as a playground sandbox where they can shoot each other, They don't care about how well they did or look back at their mistakes. Shoot, die and moving on to the next game. Why do you think WG is removing the restriction of waiting for the battle to finish if you die early to play the same ship again? They are not doing this for the good players, it's to help YOLO players grind to superships ASAP without learning any game mechanics along the way.

 

Play PvE if you find PvP too frustrating.

The imbalance is there because WG gave up on trying. They can't wrap their heads around it, need to launch new lines every month no matter what and have this rather bizarre idea that ships should not fulfill a specific role in the game. They don't want to invest time in player that are trying to better themselfses, those are just anoying. Solution are out there and so simple even the cross-eyed, drooling wannabees claiming to be gamedevs should be able to grasp it, yet they just maintain far-fetched fairytales and pull the most ridicilous bull out of their hats. 

 

It's a complete and utter waste to even try and play well. Just find the most toxic ship and have a blast. After all, that's what they want. Teamplay? Nah, as long as you are having fun. I'll bet somewhere there is a memo about makinng the games 15min instead of 20, so more rounds can be played.

Have to Agree , so many match spoilt by a sub  or cv , 

 

playing against subs just has no risk v reward when fighting them , its just better to run away , , 

 

if playing a DD , your too slow to manuver against the sub , all whilst they try to shot gun you , or you get spotted  then have to deal with surface ships , disengage then get homing torps when trying to get out ,. 

playing bb , you fire you air defence when the white line is there no where near it , if you in a fight you have no clue where they are as concentrating on other things . 

 

you  end up spending all match against 1 sub burn your bonus flags and just a really crap game experience ,

 

theres is getting the point  where the time spent in game is not worth the hassle

I don't care about winrate (I have 55%), but I can hardly find any fun in battles with CV's and/or subs. Subs are even more shitty to deal with. I had a good crossfire on the enemy team, but was focused down so hard by the CV, I couldn't do anything to make an advantage of it. Went a little further back and decided to go a bit towards a cap point, but then the CV and submarine was focusing me... Yeah...

 

I can enjoy a defeat just as much as a win, if the match is a close one, but most are just boring because one team just gets overrun in no time... If i'm fed up with it I try lower tiers, but same old song there, blow outs occur so regular.

 

So the only thing to do then is click 'exit game' after two battles. xD

Subs are a problem? Just dodge, or turn in. Problem solved. See here:

"Just Dodge" applies to CV airstrikes.

Genuine question : Is the enhanced homing of Alliance torps a feature of that particular premium ship or the British subs in general?

 The sub and CV gameplay is good from a sub and CV player point of view.   I cant argue that WG havent done a bad job that way.    The problem is sub and CV gameplay from a non-sub and CV player point of view.   It just doesnt fit into the game.  Can it be good?   After all the tweaks WG have done I am not cinvinced they can be maed to fit.   THere are still some game modes where CV and subs are not allowed and for me that is very telling.  Its a shame, I would like them to fit and work well but they just dont.

Sub is even more SH*T in co op, they will continuous pinging you when you are in smoke in a DD with 100% accuracy.
