Well they're having same base reload as Baltimore.

48k RB is minimum price.

I would say 48-50k.

It will be fun to watch ppl trying to hit something with this with range mod (if aviable) and 40s shell flight. :cap_haloween:

I'd rather play Annapolis or any BB with proper guns with overmatch.

shouldnt BB have better reload then cruiser. They have bigger space, better conditions ...

Shouldn't BBs that have a cleveland strapped to the side be able to use that firepower?

It's a :etc_swear: arcade game...

you know this is funny ... from all the information on the actual project this is based on, they had some serious trouble fitting the autoloader into quad turrets even on a BB hull ...

It's an interesting concept, I look forward to seeing it in action. In theory it might work, as the DM guns are super good at short to medium-short range, and the only real weakness is the fragility of the platform.

That said, close range optimised BBs are in general a pretty difficult concept to execute at least in current randoms meta.

BUffalo has 11 sec reload with same amount of guns. Cant really compare different tier ships to one another...

It's a medium range BB, most effective at 14-15km. Base range is like Salem range mod, about 18km which is fine for me.

IMHO

1) Reload is crap, if you are taking the BB slot with 8” guns at least you could be expected to bring the DPM to the table

2) If she is RB I might get her just for the giggles as I have RPs to spare anyway but other then some coop I wouldnt expect much unless they give her superhral super secs or both

I'm still unclear why she is better than a cruiser or BB. Like others said, guns are easy to knock out and have battleship burn time.

I like cruisers with BB guns. But I'm not seeing how a BB with cruiser guns can have much match impacts.

So... is this better or worse than the Massachusets? This is also T9, so no good for operations.

Finally an actually good cruiser. No utility but very good armor, next to impossible to citadel, good guns, acceptable AA, ok handling, concealment and an improved heal.

Promising battle cruiser.(unlike the ones that use cruiser icon minus alaska.)

US Cruiser Heavy AP is nasty stuff. The main brake on it is the fact that the ships which have it have to spend most of their time hiding from enemy fire. This one doesn't.

But how would you play her effectively? If you play nose in, then you risk getting your turrets permanently disabled. Open water spamming HE? But there are far better cruisers can do that?

I'm trying to come up with some advantages she offers over the currents ships I have in port other than it is different.

Fantasy crap when real US battleships are missing, New Jersey and Wisconsin

Illinois was actually laid down in 1942 but was scrapped before completion

Had it been completed it would have like its sisters, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin and New Jersey been armed with 9 x 406mm (16") guns, not some stupid 203mm Desmo clone rubbish

Illinois looks like a really good ship. First of all the hull is an enhanced Iowa, with the citadel under water, while is faster than some cruisers at 32.5knt (Iowa is at 28knt).

With Plotting Room 1 has 21.33km range with the typical Desmo/Salem arc it can set fires from above islands, plus 5% better accuracy.

Last slot can use either Main Battery Mod 3 to lower reload at 7.92s or Artillery Plotting Room 2 for 11% better accuracy and 9s reload.

Considering has the American cruiser 203s, it can set fires and even citadel even battleships like Montana if aim at the flat strip bellow the deck.

I will get her  with RBP since all the current options aren't than interesting to me and bought UU modules that make a difference like the Atrocious, Harugumo ones.
