I'm waiting.... This! Superships just enhances the already very clear problem of player skills. A good player in Annapolis can murder half the enemy team, while a bad player in Patrie or Hannover will die after 3 min when pressing W. Im also waiting for the release of the Super playerbase.....

Superships do have however different characteristics. These ships don’t cost any XP/FreeXP to buy. Also these ships can’t be reset when you reset the techtree line. I am not sure If the reduction of earning credits makes them so much different. Every tier has different values for repair costs and earnings. To be honest, I don’t mind the reduced credits that much. I think a quick coop mission with a perma boosted ship can make up for lost credits. Some people simply have a huge amount of credits because they have not much to spend it on.

I think this is exactly one of the reasons I don't play superships anymore for now. When I started playing the game I rushed to tier 10 and kept playing it. I ended up at 29% winrate. Now slowly increasing my winrate at tier 5-6. Will slowely move to higher tiers when ready for it. That does not mean that I never play tier 10 anymore because that also goes better now but I first want my winrate to get higher before I start playing tier 10 more often.

I have both Asashio and Missouri which nets me around 1.5 - 2 M credits per game the extra costs of running Superships doesn't affect me at all. that said im only interested in playing Annapolis, Dalarna and upcoming Kunming. 1 hour ago, RazorBlade72 said: I think this is exactly one of the reasons I don't play superships anymore for now. I think that is a very solid decision. I wish a lot of T10 CV players would feel the same. It really sucks when you have a Super unicum CV guy facing a 30% WR CV guy in a game deciding class like CVs. Especially when both are playing Super CVs and the first guy wrecks the other in 3 min and then have free range on the rest of the team for the duration. Some players shouldn't be able to play Superships because they put their team in such an disadvantage if the mirroring Super guy have actual skill.

I think that the problem you describe is mainly a problem with how the game works. WG can easily fix this by making different leagues like it is done in any sport competition. In any sport there is no chance that you play as rookie amateur against the top teams / players. That would solve most of the problems that top players have when playing with or against players with a lower skillset. On the other hand, it is just as frustrating for beginning players to play agains people that play this game every day for the past 7 years.

You know that, I know that and everybody with a couple of active braincells know it. But sadly, these low requirements exclude WG employees from knowing it. Besides, they lack the players to manage that. They can only see quantity, not quality. It's far outside their limited abilities it seems.
