Agreed. Although i prefer Brandenburg because i also have the torps as a trump card. Atlantico is not bad either, i've sunk quite a few Tirpitzs and Zeitens with it.

I regret that I did not collect it at the shipyard. But he loses his secondary guns faster.

I would have these two as a choice but in different order. Brandenburg has torps, and in 1v1 brawl in a high number of battles it comes down to that one single close combat maneuver where you torp one side then turn and lose your torps on the other side. I admit, not as prevalent as it was in the T9 cruiser brawl where Ägir beat everything with this but it is a game changer. Massa will beat any DDs and the occassional CV will not be able to hurt it too much until it is in firing range and then its dead. But against cruisers and BBs Brandy has a slight advantage over Massa for me. I think there won't be too many DDs anyway.

 Massa will almost always shoot Branden. In addition, special AP of Massachusetts clearly dominate. You can hardly get within torpedo range of him. I managed to outlast him on Brandenburg in just a couple of battles out of about 15.

At tier 9, I had moments when I really wished I had Tulsa =)

Well, there was barely any. When there was, I just bow tanked until I was in 4 km, turned and torped.

I completed the brawl today, 7 w yesterday the rest today. After about the 30th w it was so utterly boring I just went in and did not care if I win or not, still won over 50% of the battles in Brandenburg. It was clearly Tirpitz, Brandenburg.  Sometimes Zieten. Everything else was just fodder. Except subs, that was obnoxious. After two battles against subs I skipped to try to make any effort, u have no counterplay in 1v1 against subs. That was a big mistake from WG. Up to 55 win I have seen maybe 2 DDs and 2 cruisers. I was so bored I decided to play the last 6 with Asashio. Out of 10 battles 3 with cruisers and 2 with DDs. In an Asashio. Skill based MM my @ss. WG matches in 1v1 a ship with one it cannot kill. Very well done. And just another disappointment.

I did not even bother.  Apart from the fact i spent the entire week in Bed ill with ATBF, I don' find much Fun in the 1 v 1 format.  Nor do i find the idea of running into a Submarine  while playing anything entertaining.

. Brawls were great fun in the 3 v 3 format, that being 1 x BB, 1 x Crusier and 1 x DD. But the rewards also had more value to the players at the time. It is as if all the employees who had passion for this game were silenced, dismissed or  moved on to different project. Everything feels 50% effort 0% passion, driven by a twisted vision.
