A defeat in Killer Whale from a team that could not be carried (LOL) is common, not different at all.

 

What is different and funny is that I got a depth charge hit in a game with no submarines.  Not only I got a hit, but I sunk a surface ship with that hit. And caused a flooding (that did not tic as the ship sunk, so no damage there). Looks like the Cimarron can get hit by the depth charges - direct hit - and get to flood.

 

Now that's something completely different.

I remember previously depth charges could damage the transports, but I too thought it had been fixed. 

 

Mind you this is WG we are talking about...

this is one bug they really don't need to fix. Its just a fun thingy if you play OPs you can just have some salt and pepper.

I was told that in this update it is possible to damage Liberty ships with depth charges.

Should be fixed in next update.

If not fixed by WG, we should at least get a special achievement for killing surface ships with depth charges, like @Saltface did.

That's a good representation of a fairly average ops team right there :cap_like: By "average" I mean that at least no one has sub-40% (unless it's the hidden stats guy, who knows...)

Don't see why. It's a perfectly good convoy operation, the only thing missing are the subs.:Smile_trollface:

 

I had two runs yesterday. First was a 4 star run, the second was a 5 star run. Admittedly, at least on the second run nearly all the ships were tier 8, but the best ship was a tier 7 cruiser Omono. Now if the teams can manage that well even with me on their team, it can't really be that bad, can it?

Well it wasn't me if that's what everyone is thinking. @Saltface can vouch for that.

 

Most failures in Killer Whale are due to how some players couldn't be bothered to keep an eye on the clock and get to the exit zone on time. It's pretty simple math in terms of number of ships and time left on the clock. Sometimes all it would take to save the operation if they just could be ***ed to get sunk to bring the numbers down but they can't even manage that.

Yes, more people need to realise that the secondary objectives won't count for anything if you fail the primary objective.
