[SCRUB] Leo_Apollo11 Quality Poster 7,146 posts 31,549 battles Report post #1 Posted February 14 Hi all, Changes to combat economy are in testing... "Changes to combat economy – Closed Testing 12.2" https://blog.worldofwarships.com/blog/419 Quote 14.02.2023 13:00 Changes to combat economy – Closed Testing 12.2 We’re providing an overview of planned changes to economic rewards related to performance in battle. The economic rewards granted for accumulating spotting damage have been increased to the same level as the rewards given for dealing direct damage with main armament types. This change takes away the weight of having to decide between increasing your own personal earnings or helping your team achieve better results by giving fairer rewards for the latter. You can evaluate the damage inflicted by your teammates using your spotting in the post-battle stats screen—a feature added in Update 12.0. To balance this adjustment and keep average earnings on a similar level, the rewards for dealing direct damage, spotting torpedoes as well as earning "Spotted" and "Defended" ribbons, have been reduced. Rewards for earning potential damage were reduced for battleships. Rewards for spotting ships and torpedoes are now equal for all ship types. The economic rewards granted for dealing damage with secondary armaments have also been increased to be on par with the rewards for dealing direct damage with main armament types. Thus, the average earnings of battleships whose gameplay is weighted towards using the secondary battery will increase to the same level as other battleships. The average XP and Credit earnings for some ship types and Tiers have been slightly changed. The goal of this change is to minimize the differences in average earnings of all ship types at the same Tier: previously the differences at high Tiers could be as high as 10%, but now they have been reduced to 2%. The most noticeable changes will occur to Tier V-VII battleships—they will receive up to 5% fewer Credits—as well as Tier V-IX destroyers, whose Credit and XP yields will increase by 1-3%, depending on the Tier. The profitability of supercarriers and super cruisers has also been reduced: they will now receive 8% less experience and 6% fewer Credits. I must say that I am puzzled by what will happen to CV / Hybrid spotting damage and proposed changes above... Also, I would guestimate that for most players this would result in reduced earnings... [BAD-F] Sir_Grzegorz Beta Tester 798 posts 16,103 battles Report post #3 Posted February 14 Good. I just need to get my campaign mission done (I am using CV United States) and they can nerf it to the ground :D I do believe that silver earnings are to high and would not mind a 10% nerf to it in general. That being said it looks like a buff to subs or I have misinterpreted wording.

Game is cattering to casuals patch by patch. 2

I dont think they know what team play is in this game, they just randomly pop out some words and think they understand their own game which they dont even play it. hint> submarines

Those regrinds cost me 1.7 bln credits and the 12 T11s that's another 500+ mln credits off + 2 more superships coming next patch. I also bought back most of the ships from T5-10 for the snowflakes, missing only few that I really hated to play, which did cost me another 300-400 mln + equipment and modules (maybe another 200 mln). [VIBES] tocqueville8 Players 3,717 posts 39,400 battles Report post #24 Posted February 14 I welcome secondary damage being revalued, not spotting damage: it's often completely accidental and it's still ancillary to...actual damage, which someone has to do.
