They should have radar to use only while on surface so they have incentive not to dive. There were so many ways to implement them in the game, but unfortunately Wargaming chose a path that I think is very bad for the game. The only problem is that they don't accept any feedback, because otherwise there would be no homing torps, for example. In the current status I can definitely do without them or would like a separate mode especially for Subamrines. It's probably going to get worse first though and Wargaming will do another rework just to move the meta around so everyone can refit their ships and Wargaming can make money off of it. Somebody unplugged the master bathtub at Lesta? It's like they are actively trying to undo all the work that the original devs put into it. We've seen the infamous CV rework = BAD, and the map rework = BAD, and the captain skill rework = BAD.
