WG: From what date the "Guaranteed Drop" mechanics (i.e. "Pity / Mercy Rule") came into effect?

For example I know from my statistics via MxStat program

that I have opened 181 "Super Container" since my last ship gotten from it (Lazo on 2020-12-22 - I got duplicate ship from XMas crate and therefore got automatic "Super Container" with guaranteed ship).

 

 

According to WG documentation the guaranteed drop for "Super Container" is 166...

and there is no program for monitoring the matchmaker?. I strongly suspect that the rules that wargaming declares do not work. I always play at the bottom of the list. I want to know if they are cheating or not.

There are:

• "Matchmaker Monitor"
• "Potato Alert"

 

but be prepared to have very very very strong nerves when you use it...

It might be possible that the duplicate SC you got in Christmas might have overwritten the slot for SC guaranteed ship.

That would be sad if it was the case

Sad or no its how it worked untill the shortlist fiasco, after that the santa SC were changed from dropping SC after dropping a ship one already had to the new system, ofc there were no pity rules before that anyway...

My Lazo was on 2020-12-22 and new "Guaranteed Drop" mechanics was, apparently, introduced in 2021-11-08 so it didn't touch me...

 

BTW, if I calculate my so-called "Super Containers" since 2021-11-08 I am at 119... so... still a long way to 166...

No this is not the case - santa containers and supercontainers are different containers.

Nope not santa containers, before in the time of shortlists if you got an offical drop in the santa crate (one od the ships on the list for santa container) and it was a duplicate (ie if you had all the ships on the list) you got rerolled for a super container with a guaranteed ship drop, thats why we used to get banned ships from them back then in the fist place, you could literally see the santa crate change into super container and then open

I remember, however this is not the case right now - santa containers do not interfere with the guaranteed drop of supercontainers

Yep now they are completely separate entities but if the total count OP mentioned started before that date it might explain the disparity
