Finally and a good thing that these are very different from Kearsarge. Which more variety, but captain builds are the same so useful for training.

Permacamos for this line looks incredible. On par with Marseille line from the last year

Has anyone else noticed that a new player could wave enough money at WG and get straight into any T10 match?

VIII Nebraska
The final reward of the Premium Battle Pass in Update 12.0.

IX Delaware
Can be obtained via random bundles available in exchange for Doubloons.

X Louisiana
Available to purchase for Doubloons at the end of a sequential bundle chain.

It's a pity WG haven't learned the lesson from early access to subs where someone could (admittedly, after a bit of a grind) unlock a T6 sub and then very quickly leap-frog to T8 and then to T10.

IMHO, it would have been a better idea to grant early access to the tech tree ships using missions that require the use of tech tree ships of the previous tier.

Maybe even tech tree ships of the same class, in this case battleships.

That's the thing. Nebraska should have been in the free battlepass. But ofc WG being WG....

In short: There is no early access unless you pay for it.

The more reason to completely quit playing destroyers.

I have been a DD main since i could remember, nowadays cruisers are the only ship i could enjoying this game. Too much for the variety...

As soon as i play DD , i get harassed by CV by either permanently spotting me and give away my position or using their rocket planes and deal 5k+ for the first minutes into the game and even if you play tier 9 or 10 DDs you don't have the ability to get some HP back like majority of other ships.

And if you want to play objective you also have ships with radars to preventing it, then there are submarines that have better concealment than DDs and can become completely invisible with just a single button.

Now we have these stupid BBs that can launch planes so even if you get a match without a CV you might instead get these BBs instead, the worst case scenario you get all of them in your game, the CV, the hybrids, the submarines, the radars.  Seriously how do people at WG HQ think this is the exact thing what the game needs and playerbase wanted ?

No wonder on the EU server at least 10k of players dissapeared. It used to be 30k players on average now it is struggled to even reach 20k. It is a matter of time before additional 10k quit aswell if WG still choosing the dumbest decisions possible.

Nebraska tier VIII is in the Battle Pass, but for not for free (a minimum of 2500 dubs).

The free Battle Pass provides other final rewards, but you are correct. The ship should have been for free...................

The joke is that you get BP and that's the prize. You then do the EA and guess what? YOu get the same ship and you can't bypass it so you're grinding it twice and actually getting nothing for that. The amount of grinding required would get to the tier VIII anyway. PATHETIC.

*Edit* I am wrong. It's the camo

Community during development, we really don't like the new CV :cap_horn:. CV pushed through and 90% player base hates them. CV, Subs perhaps even 95%.

Everyone complains, what does WG do, they make cruisers with planes. More planes in the game. Then, they introduce hybrids, again more planes in the game. Followed by a DD with planes.

Now in their wisdom, they introduced a whole Hybrid line :Smile-angry: . Turning a battle game into a plane game.

What's next, subs with planes?

Ever heard about naval history? Would be suprising if there were no planes in this game. And hybrids are very welcomed, since they add a lot of variety to the game. The most unique BB line I would say

I was just in a game, with 5 BBs on each side. My team had 2 Hybrids.

We were losing a bit and were obliged to push some. The hybrids don't want to be burned or torpedoed as they are flying their planes, so they played the distance game. Playing the 1-2 line staying far from enemy shells or the chance of being spotted. So... our 3 BBs had to push their 5 BBs. Didn't stand a chance of course. And with planes with bombs you can't do as much damage as with guns.

I am happy you find them so unique, personally I think they break the meta even more. In the old meta you could spec your ship for AA and then you and anyone close to you was well protected against major plane damage being inflicted. Which was also a risk because you could be in a non-CV game (I had my Montana spec'd for AA in those days). Now, it doesn't matter how well protected you are with AA, planes will always come through.

So magically protected planes together with impermeable CV flight decks so you can't long range hurt a CV, the anti-sub wonder-weapon, super speed Subs, jets, cats or anime camo's and such has made this game more like a Harry Potter magic game then a battle game.

Some more harry potter stuff:

Sit in smoke, turn your engine off and a sub can still find you.

Hydro doesn't find subs.

Homing torpedo's which uniquely only work for subs. Why not ships?

Tromp & Cruisers launching squadrons of planes.

Jet planes against WWII era ships

Planes with depth charges can't see surface vessels (this one is too funny, blind pilots...)

The fact Russian ships are so strong (while in real life we see that Russians have nice stuff on paper, but it doesn't work on the battlefield).

Problem with WG is they try really hard to think of new things and they invest a lot of time and effort in them. If it turns out it doesn't work, they must revert to the Harry Potter methods to make it even remotely playable. They will not say, ok, this didn't work.

Personally, I would have gone for more maps, larger battles options (like 18 vs 18 or 24 vs 24) on larger maps, 2 ships per battle (second one in port for when you die), 2nd WW battles, vs f.i. 1970's ships, before I would change the laws of physics and have Harry potter weaponry.
