How slow and how bad Colorado is. So I prepared myself mentally for a painful grind. I actually came to enjoy it and the ship left me quite a pleasant memory. I haven't played her since... so I'm quite eager to play her again... even though I don't really care about getting Nebraska. In my personal experience: the problem with her is the combination of low speed, bad dispersion and being easily damaged. You can't snipe (without a lot of help from RNG), you can't run and enemies will eat you alive with HE and full pens. Maybe I play it wrong.

And add to that the fact she can't reliably bounce 406/410mm fire when nose in.. Will say this much for the Kansas: At least she's considerably tankier than the Colorado. Last week I was sunked with a single AP volley, while being half HP and kiting away decently angled (checked the replay because I was bewildered). This say a lot... Colorado is until now the only ship where I massively burnt freeXp to end the grind (to North Carolina).

Colorado is ok against VIII, but the high-tier big maps really hurt the performance. The guns are great though at tier VII you can basically overmatch almost everything and the agility is not that bad also. Too few opportunities given by the MM to shine. I am finishing the Kansas grind now (grinded NC before) and the WR is terrible. It is my only ship under 50% WR even with solid avg. performance of over 80k dmg and 1 frag per battle. Carry potential is too low because once you choose the side you simply cannot switch.

(forgot that I got lucky with a container drop and got the Ncal that way instead) Have no issue with them being in the game, but have no interest in actually playing the hybrids. To be fair "hi diddle, fi diddle, straight up the middle" is a option on some maps at least..
