With 800% ship EXP economic bonus I don't see a problem. Even with 200% you can do it in one afternoon. Atleast thats how I'll do it. And tier 7 is not that much boring to play as tier 5 Ranked. But for a co-op main Shimanto actually does fine. However, Colorado is a major draaag. 20 hours ago, farko1 said: It is slow but ap rounds slaps when they hits The operative word being "when", even the drunken shotgun that is F. Caracciolo has better dispersion at a slightly longer range*. I could put up with the slow speed if the guns made up for it, but they don't. Maybe if they had a range / accuracy buff you'd actually feel vaguely useful - kinda like a T7 mini-Vermont. The only other ships (aside from Colorado) I have that are armed with 406mm guns are Sinop & Nelson**. And again they both have better range* (only just for Sinop) and better dispersion. Current tactic is to play Colorado one per day for the +50% win bonus and then, in the interests of preserving sanity, leave it at that. * Compared to stock Colorado's GFCS ** Granted, Nelson is a (no-longer available) premium that can also bring more guns to bear, but it does go to show that Colorado pays a very heavy price for its large gun calibre. 1

But there was no limit on how many ships of a class you could run into in a match. Plus back when some of us started playing there was only one BB line in the game, and it wasn't the US one.. Indeed, but at least if the guns were more accurate and had better range you'd have a chance of sniping something.

It was 3 vs 3 when I started a few weeks after release, though it might have been different in Alpha/Beta. But you could division any ships so an Umikaze with Yamato. So sometimes it could be very weird teams. Kawachi vs Fuso was not fun. Kawachi with its poor gun range never got into range to fire a salvo.

Had that happen to me at least once, never got into range before the entire team was dead.
[SCRUB] Kenliero Players 2,478 posts 11,195 battles Report post #22 Posted March 14 Surprised to see people actually like that turtle. It is sooooo slow... I used 800% bonuses and got it to 131k pretty fast, around 20-25k xp games, just playing daily wins. There was a lot of T9 games, which gave a good xp, because if you play careful, never hover in the edges of the map(because you can not relocate) and take good shots near islands and don't hang around in open waters, it can do ok damage. This is what I read in all places when I got her. How slow and how bad Colorado is. So I prepared myself mentally for a painful grind. I actually came to enjoy it and the ship left me quite a pleasant memory. I haven't played her since... so I'm quite eager to play her again... even though I don't really care about getting Nebraska.
