F***king Gsus mate...

Are you perhaps an exceptionally adroit assistant for a professional knife thrower as you are so skilled at dodging every point?

I leave you to figure out under which category that falls under. No hurry, take your time.

And then some.

Because your point is a legal definition that depends on country and not the action itself.

Fair enough, if I'm writing in English I tend to go by what those terms mean in English. In different countries, what counts as defamation may be interpreted differently. Do we know what jurisdiction WG is under?

They should be under EU law since their headquarter are on Cyprus and the other offices are in other EU countries.

The EU law, I think, mostly deals with political and corporate entities. The EU directives for consumer law, for instance, will need to separately legislated by each member country.

True but they are still inside the EU and have uphold the EU laws and I know that my country can go through the EU to get them to uphold our laws in our country, but again if it is in a small end there wont happen anything from my country but theoretically and in practice they could throw the book at WG.

Depending on nation that can depend on the nation the offending party acts from or the offended party sits in.

There is no universal jurisdiction. In some countries judges even have a contradicting view on the matter.

Yes, well if there are multiple jurisdictions involved it will probably get very complicated. This probably only is an issue for online activity, because in almost every other case the parties would share the same jurisdiction. As you say, even in a single jurisdiction the merits of each case would be determined independently and how any judge sees the matter may also differ. Then you can have the appeals and so on. Obviously then we are not talking about the sort of insults you might run into in a conversation at the pub.
