In all fairness - I have to agree with that. It IS within the boundaries of possibility set by the game parameters.

WG offers you a gimped ship at reduced price and tries to extract the full price by tricking you with backloading the grind. Nothing to see here.

I don't think ops should qualify for damage or ribbons missions (events / Naval battles) as you're correct in that ops provide an environment where it's relatively easy to farm large quantities.

What I do agree with @Schelfie & @electro75 is that ops should be eligible for BaseXP missions and BaseXP Naval Battle stars as the rewards for PvE players (in co-op) are fairly meagre.

This is particularly acute in Naval Battles as the 2nd bar typically requires 800 BaseXP, or more, which is pretty hard to achieve in co-op.

Yeah, That's what would be ideal.

 

Things like this are an exeption and happens only if all the stars align

let's say it directly..!..if all the missions were also on scenarios.. the players would slowly leave the tampit random, which has no balance in the game, although you struggle to equalize the forces for 5 years without use.  .

 

I tried and have been trying for 2 years to get wargaming to introduce the scenarios in the same category as..co-op..random..ranked..brawl..without restrictions on missions..but it seems that they only see the front..  not sideways or behind..hey scenario players..!..we are condemned to play only what they want..maybe but they don't want to..!

The 39k grinds in order to get the 6 missions for the final dockyard stage can take some doing especially if you only play Co-op.

I can only play 3 days a week too so gaming time is limited. 

If you already have the ship you've got to ask yourself is the your time and effort worth it for 250 steel. I know mine isn't as I have a life outside the game.

If you haven't got the ship and really want it then surely the cost of one dockyard stage is got to be a lot less than what your time is worth.

Just play Ranked. Even if you are bad. You will get carried to 9 victories in Bronze for 600 steel way faster than grinding out that much basic xp in co op in two weeks!

b) you could git gud

c) you could do both

 

Let's face it, if you're so bad that you won't survive in randoms, I really don't see what any reward ship gives you. But certainly, in WoW there were also different items fow PvE and PvP players. I wouldn't go that far, but maybe they could introduce game mode locked ships. Say, if you make it in randoms, you can use it anywhere, if you cheese it in coop, it's locked in coop only. (untill WG gets the brilliant idea to unlock it for a small amount of 10 000 dubs)

Wait. I don't understand it. You think that, because i've no intention to do random that i suck and therefore i should not get to play ships because reasons?

I thought that you said that you suck and you can't abide getting flamed for it.

Very understandable, you have 26 games in randoms total. What on earth makes you think you posess the competence to play a T10 in randoms? The 6000 Coop games are very much worthless as far as experience goes.

Basically yes. Reasons are: If you can't make it in randoms - well, it's a reward, not a gift.

Admittedly, one where you got played by WG psychological warfare monetization department. But don't worry, comrade, WG got you covered, you can just throw dubs on the skill issue....:Smile_trollface:

 

So, I really don't mind that you play mind boggling numb coop - if that's your thing, well, whatever floats your boat.

But complaining that you don't get the same rewards is... a bit entitled?

By the way, I certainly understand fraying patience with totally clueless T10 players. It's a team game, after all - you don't sign up for a rugby match without a clue either, a) you get punched in the face and b) you are a liablility to your team and c) they... dislike you for it. And incdentally experience in Super Mario Rugby doesn't really count.

 

If you want to git gud, start at tier IV or so, where the gimmicks aren't overwhelming and work up from there, once you got the gist. All that Coop experience is more of a hindrance than anything when all of a sudden the enemy actually (instead of accidentally) tries to kill you.

It certainly is possible.

 

I ground through almost all of the challenges, and only got the ship early because I had a few thousand doubloons hanging about.

 

I found that winning brawls was particularly good at earning rewards.
