Scrooge Nicholson volume

I really like this unique commander's voice.

 

One problem though! 

 

He isn't loud enough. This isn't my headphone volume; at the same volume, all other commander's voices are loud enough.

 

@Seraphice any chance WG could crank Nicholson's voice volume up a bit please?

The easiest way is to simply turn up the voice volume in game:

I did, I understand the issue, but for now its easiest to just change the voice volume while using this specific commander for the time being.

If I remember correctly, something like this has happened before.

 

With the Godzilla/King Kong voices, people complained their volume was very low, and same with Unsinkable Sam. I am not sure if WG has fixed it, but it's unlikely they will since there is no real monetary incentive in that. On the off chance they consider it, it should be a pretty easy fix on their part.

Is that at least internally acknowledged as a bug/issue, to be fixed eventually? There were simular problems with some special commanders in the past, that ended up being tuned up in one of the following game updates.

But then won't my teammates' commanders voices be deafeningly loud?

 

That's not even a temporary fix.

 

I seem to recall that players were complaining a couple of years ago about the aeroplane droning sound on the Fjords harbour.

 

WG simply turned the sound off.

 

That was an easy fix. 

 

I worked hard to unlock Nicholson, as did many other players who have him.

 

This is a simple fix, which WG could address by merely altering a single line of code, taking minutes.

Nothing at WG takes minutes, unless the initial price was too low by accident.

Usually changes in the game regarding content, mechanics or similar are only changes with updates, and the update is usually also set in stone, tested and ready a couple days before release.

Unfortunately we cannot catch every single bug before the release of an update, however our QA department as well as Supertest catch a lot of them!
