Completing them will reward you with either VI Dido or VI Canarias on top of some valuable rewards. I mostly play the Dido in Ops where her smoke and rate of fire can be used to their full potential, where as in randoms I would be a lot more cautious. She has pretty short range guns so you would need to really use island cover and support your DDs as Dido doesn’t have hydro ( something to remember when sitting in smoke). I know Dido is not that great but rather have her in port then the 8 million silver compensation for getting Canarias the 2nd time. With both ships in port plus the recent Xmas T6 premium ship drops ( I have al regular T5 so rng decides to give me T6 instead) I have just a few T6 premiums ( which surprisingly are the more expensive BB’s) left… Maybe next Xmas will give me some T7 due to having all T5 and T6’s. edit: will also be very depending on the level of grind required to finish the mission.. But the AP is a bit weaker and fails to pen many times. I would still recommend her cause she has decent range. While Dido relies on Island cover and really struggling against T8's and bigger maps. Next ranked season will feature a single tier and the bronze will be for T6 only. Both of these will be quite strong, since the main problem for them is uptiering. I picked Dido last time there was a mission to get one of them for free, she can work but requires a very careful playstyle. From what i've heard about Canarias the thing is boredom incarnate, i guess that is the reason i haven't seen one in months despite most people picking her during the last mission. Gun range helps to avoid attention early game and speed and hydro helps chasing down DDs if the opportunity calls for it. 40kt is nothing to be scoffed at. In that case Dido stands for the name of mythological founder and first queen of Carthage. She was also known as Elissa . Anyway - I took Canarias first, now it is time for another famous one.
