All T4 CVs are fairly comparable.

 

T6

Best overall: Ryujo by a huge margin, for the most part T6 CVs live and die by their torps as all other armament types are lackluster and Ryujo simply has the best ones

Second place probably goes to Loewenhardt but it is not available for purchase, Ark Royal is also very good but can be boring to play due to slow planes. Ranger and Furious are okayish.

 

T8

Best overall: Enterprise, arguably the most powerful CV tier for tier by literally being a T10 CV in disguise, not available for purchase

Shokaku and Lexington share second place, Chkalov comes close to that and is the best available premium, Kaga is the best for beginners and still very solid overall.

 

T10

Best overall: tie between Hakuryu and Midway, which is more powerful depends entirely on MM (Haku is better in BB/cruiser heavy matches, Midway is better in DD heavy ones)

Malta is the best premium by far, it comes very close to the top and is also the easiest to play. Nakhimov can push out big damage totals if the enemy is braindead and does not WASD but falls off quickly if the enemy has more than two braincells. Everything else is honestly not worth mentioning.

 

Super

Best overall: Sekiryu by a gigantic amount, literally just a Haku with tacticals

United States in second place due to having superior damage output and more flexibility than Eagle, however can be very easily sniped as the hull is extremely fragile.

No question, Enterprise is the best tier-for-tier.

But would you really see its power level closer to Malta than it is to Lexington?

Well my experience are different, it happens often enough that get hit with one bomb when angling, and have occasionally been hit with several, though 0 hits also happen (as I stated in my original post).
Granted, I'm not always angled perfectly 90 degrees, but between 70-90 degrees is what I'd reckon as usual.

Its pretty much a must to be perfectly angled to not get hit by multiple. 2 bombs never fall on the same spot together with Nakhi. Don't be so defensive when someone points out flaws. You didn't say in the first post that you aren't always perfectly angled. In a random match that isn't always possible anyway and a Nakhimov with a brain will attempt to drop you when you have other problems but even then its a situation you dictate not the Nakhi. This is the reason why the CV is rated low. It needs the target to misplay more so than any other CV and then he deals mediocre punishment.

2 bombs are around 5k damage. You can take that once a match. But you usually can simply dodge by perfect angling.

No, but the power level spectrum of T10 CVs is gigantic. I'd say if Enty were actually a T10 CV it'd be better than Auda, MvR and the like.

Yeah but that would probably even be the case for Kaga etc., because Auda and MvR are just utter crap.

It’s weaker than it was, it’s still strong but it’s not head and shoulders above all over CVs like it was.

The rocket nerf you mean?

Yeah it got less effective against DDs that actively angle against you. But it still works.

 

TBs and DBs are still amazing and you still get the carzy good maneuverability and regen time.

 

To me it is still the best T8 CV by far.

The last nerf I am aware of is the AP alpha. But Enty still has lots of it.

No. The last time anything changed about Enty AP DBs specifically was when WG buffed their speed/HP and nerfed their regen to align their stats with Lexington DBs back at the beginning of the rework.

But in this specific instance, the people on the official discord told me that there was some change about the drop pattern of dive bombers which hit enty hard as it has AP?

Idk what's the best if you dedicate your time to it, but Chkalol is easy and feels pretty darn filthy. 

 

Best T6 cv is obviously Bearn because you can kill the planes of 2 potato carriers with interceptors and laugh in french
