[R7S] Wulf_Ace Players 2,179 posts 12,306 battles Report post #1 Posted December 31, 2022 I am getting more and more frustrated by a ship based airplane spotting, I can live with CV stupid spotting, but those from ships are ultra broken! How in the earth I am spotted here, there is no PLANE in sight, nor even anywhere close to be spotted by a plane. This lasted for some time and I havent even seen a enemy spotter plane. I ASSUME its a spotter from Yoshino on the flank, WHO was by the way on the other side of the island (plane I mean). I might be crazy but this cant be right... The spotter plane itself also has its concealment, unknown to us , might be 8km or 9. While your air concealment being on fire was maybe 11km. 7 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

They might be using a spotter/fighter plane which cant be spotted as its to far away. Smart move by the Yoshino trying to spot you like this. Also a little advice. Beside your fire problem ... yeah ... it is possible to abuse normal planes from BB for spotting. I remember a Youtuber even adjusting his complete setup around this issue. It is one of the small things, which WG should and could easily fix, but the community cannot focus on such stuff or even declines the problem existing. "spotter" In real life yes, his job is to find and observe fire on target but in this game since he cant move and find or spot target , since he just moves around the ship, his job is just to extend the range. Its funny that he corrects fire from target by watching target from his ship not from some other place where he cant actually see the target as he should. What I dont like is the range and spotting of these aircrafts while in other hand they cant be spotted, I just find this system wonky BUT it can be corrected in the right way which WG will not do, since its a lot of job and it will not provide them money. For two months now, every time I check "unread content" I see the stupid birthday discount topic, right next to some whining threads where the same people, that miss their discount coupon, say they will no longer spend money cause the game has become unbearable.
