I love my Plymouth though, because even while AP only, the toolkit is so large that she can do stuff other boats cant.

Not personally a fan of Mino though, because it feels somewhat limited at times.

Complete opposite. I find Plymouth a pale shadow of radar mino, whereas memetaur is the most fun a man can have in wows, at least at T10.

A interesting line to play, that requires brain to play with some little carry potential. What is the problem here? Do you people wanted another brainless HE spammers from 20km that set you on fire every salvo while destroying precious modules? Really?  They look miles better than that blasphemy that is Vallejo.

From my own experience so far, it is better when the geniuses at WG are busy adding new shitty surface ships lines than subs or doing a rework.

Long range plunging AP spam is my gues - Mino can do the same with range mod, penetrating the deck. If you hit.

Also we will see more dead light cruisers early in the game. So... basically food for the BBabies?

If PanAm line gets "improved ballistics" in line with Russian 152mm found on Chapayev and the like, then "deck pens with plunging fire" would occur only at 20km+ where you'd need calendar to lead your shots anyway.

with all of the "hurr durr this DD is specialised in killing light cruisers"

That is the single thing light cruisers really don't have an issue with in my opinion. Malta, Supercruisers, Supershit FFFFUUUUnbutton, lack of functionalAA,  tons of sniping BBabies are much worse.

Maybe they're just taking the drag away? But that doesn't fit the "close to medium range" statement. Let's see...

Plunging fire is a myth most of the time and you don't witness it unless you tryhard for it by stacking all the range buffs to effectively get 20s+ shell fight time

Ru 152mm are very much viable up to 15km ranges, which makes them "close to medium range" in my book

Don't have a Plymouth, but recently played my Canarias and she proved I was right. Did manage to squeeze out some 48,8k damage from her in a tier 8 game though at least..

Well, most cruiser lines like to cruise from one island to the next. Maybe the Pan-American cruisers would suit a Caribbean map ideally? :cap_yes:
