I have found that I can play better with this ship, or is this an illusion ?

it is of course an appearance a ship must have a beautiful appearance it is a pity that many ships in the game do not have a special appearance  😘

I think some cammo like that can hide where to shoot for players, ie the belt & citadel hight & placement?

Smart players turn off the crap camos - there are some where it's harder to deceide if he's moving forward or backwards afair, just klick the small cogwheel to the right of your ship caroussel.

Added advantage, you don't have to look at that and those with questionable aesthetic sense can still do it and everyone is happy.

You know that there's an option to hide such camo and it'll be replaced with regular permaflage? I turned off all Halloween camos so I'll see only regular Montana with it's standard permaflage. Lel.

Call it whatever you prefer (superstition, autosuggestion...) but before the economic rework I absolutely had to play Minotaur with Type 5 (now named Tiles) camo, else the results in battle were... let's say more unpredictable and leaning towards worse. The same applied to Shimakaze and Yugumo (either Type 1 -Patches- or Type 5). I guess @DEEP_SHARKS is having the same kind of impression or self-fullfilling prophecy regarding his Montana.

P.S.: Holy smokes, small opaque minimap with no extra info! You should use a larger one with all the visual clues you can get (and check it from time to time) for better situational awareness.

Some camos do make the targets visually harder to see, especially under certain map conditions.

Finally  a good use for infernal camos if we get them for free. Put it somwhere you cant see it.
