This also shows the lesser impact of CVs compared to the good old "may the better CV win" RTS games - if you're basically afk as a CV, you still have a win rate of 30% as opposed to 20% with RTS.

 

But even that ultradummycum can spot other players to death by sheer luck.

Come on, cut him some slack. If you're really trash - and currently 70% of the CVs I meet are utter trash - could improve with this guide. You won't git gud, but at least you improve.

It doesn't. This is because the competition for high tier CVs has changed. For example if you check the leaderboards for T10 RTS Midway well over 50% of players on there had 100k+ average damage. For rework Midway this is only 20% or so.

Aka in RTS you had a much higher chance of meeting a skilled CV player in high tiers and thus naturally bad CV players would perform significantly worse. That's the only reason why the WR floor for high tier CVs specifically has risen, it has nothing to do with how influential CVs are themselves.

 

In reality RTS and reworked CVs are pretty much equal in terms of influence - as can be seen by top players in both reaching roughly the same WR ceiling. And if you check the tiers below T9 where RTS CV population was still fairly reasonable you'll see that pretty much nothing has changed there on the bottom either.

Today I had a carrier player at T8 get 50xp and not afk, so I think a more rudimentary guide is needed for the playerbase.

So if somebody did want to join the dark heresy of CVs and only had 49 CV games where should they start.....?

 

Would it be useful to add any other guides/vids that would help people to learn to play CVs?

Well TBH I did get that a few days ago, me being stupid I trusted the autopilot. 

I sent him behind an island, while leasurely killing the reds. So far, so good.

Never imagined the autopilot could FF up just going behind an island. No weird turns, nothing. 

Then a teammate decide he wanted that island as well, and autopilot decides to park NEXT TO IT...
