Hi all,

How are your habits nowadays regarding expenditure of Economic Bonuses and Signal Flags in battles (especially after the separation of Cammos and Bonuses)?

I find myself that I use Economic Bonuses in every battle Ranked/Brawl/Operation/CoOp (yes - even when I slowly grind my few remaining lines in CoOp) but I use the Signal Flags almost exclusively in Ranked (and I didn't play Random in months)...

How is your experience? Do you have some rule or it is a "spur of the moment" decision?

Been pretty basic since the rework, try to maximize on the ship in question. Economic boosters I use on my biggest earners for max effect, ships like OG Missouri, Asashio, Kidd, Jean Bart, Kearsarge, T8-9 Premiums that I usually have good to awesome games in, so I get over 1 M credits. Same as for Free XP boosters. Ship boosters only for lines I grind and captain boosters on my 21-point Legendary's which I use pretty much every game I play for maximizing Captain XP.

Flags I don't really care for as much, maybe ram flags on brawlers and fire flags on spammers and of course detonation on all DDs.

Only play Randoms, can't stand the level of "skill" of the players in Ranked or Brawls, the "competitive" modes.

only use xp blues on ships I didnt have a permanent one.

Usually T6-T7 in ops.

Greens on t8 i dont have the permanent others gray.

T9 ussually is the most relax just the final hurdle.

So gray as well.

I used to save the 200 xp camos for ranked and cb but wel..

With the seperation I have become more careless as long as i breeze through the pain.

First of all I should mention I'm a very sick individual, that keeps record of my stock of bonusses and signals over time

Yeah and you need 5-6 min to pick a ship :cap_haloween:

Do you really use the grey exp bonus (100% ship exp?)

Eh...

If I play operations I use the gray bonuses.

FYI in Ops you can easily net over 1M Credits with the blue Credit booster.

If my memory doesn't fail me, I even got multiple Ops with over 1.5M Credits (blue booster) :Smile_coin:

Ofc I use it. You see us, the mortal players, we don't drown in green and blue bonusses as much as the players who buy loot boxes and lots of premium content. Even fpr grinds and regrinds there are ships that you do not want to skip, but at least elite faster, and then there are ships that you want to play a bit longer.

Right now the grind of submarines is way faster than the actual learning process. So I take it slow and use the grey bonusses.

Also, I am picking ships quite quickly these days. But events, like e.g. 200% weekends, used to change the situation in the past. Those 200% used to stack with CXP/FXP. Inthe past wouldn't mount all sorts of economic signals on a T8 ship in a Random Battle. But with 200% bonus, now Spring Sky camo and dragon signals make sense. Ofc then you pick the ship a week later and it still has the rare signals, while now you are back at 50% for the daily win. So ofc you remove them, which slightly increases the time to ready up for battle.

To be honest I never completely understood the change.

What was the whole point? Now I just see some idiotic stickers that look all the same.

No need for the camos, so what is the point of having them at all?

FYI, I just did my usual inventory-taking. This is over a period of 6 weeks after the bonusses of the anniversary event and mostly in accordance with the general tendencies, I observe since the change of the economic system.

My results indicate the following:

Credits:

We get way more of the grey credits bonusses and way less of the green bonusses than I typically use. This is typical for my all-or-nothing calculus. I do a lot of T9 battles on premium ships and boost credits with lots of green bonusses. I hardly use the grey ones. In total the number of bonusses has increased, but this is driven by grey bonusses.

XP:

A similar picture occurs. Grey and blue bonusses increased in number, while green ones deplete. This is due to rather constrained regrinding efforts. New players will see XP bonusses going down fast. Regrinders should use the blue bonusses for unlocking all modules, then switch to green bonusses. Grey bonusses should be used on low tiers and ships that are deemed fun to play. The total number seems to be constant for veterans, while new players will see a massive shortage of XP-bonusses, compared to their subjective needs.

CXP:

This ressource sees a massive depletion across the board. We definitely don't get as many CXP-bonusses as we typically need. This is a phenomenon even for most veteran players, but even more so for newbs.

FXP:

Again I see a massive decrease of stockpile. Clan Battle players likely will have lost a lot of green and blue bonusses. I'd recommend using mostly grey ones for random battles, with a few green ones on selected high baseXP-ships

Conclusion for me and possibly you:

Use more grey credits bonusses and less green ones, use blue ones only on lucrative game modes.

Use more grey XP bonusses on low tier grinds and switch to green bonusses only at T8 and T9. Use blue CXP bonusses only to overcome stock and weak ships. Don't use them at all on elited and premium ships.

Use CXP more carefully. Use green bonusses only for Elite CXP on T8+ and to train commanders for your favorite silver ships.

Use FXP more carefully. Don't skip regrinds and modules that you can grind without inconvenience.

The results are ofc highly subjective, as my usage of bonusses differs from yours. But since I am mostly done with grinds and my focus lies on regrinds, it is somewhat representative of most veteran players who invest in premium account and are above average in results, while not spending money on lootboxes and thus not getting bonusses as by-catch. Feel free to share you stock of bonusses.
