New low point in player base behavior... reporting enemy for winning in 1 vs. 1 BB brawl...

My personal point of view on the matter. I'm somewhat new player. Returning one with fresh account that is. To me 1 on 1 brings immense amount of frustration to a point even greater than subs or cvs. The thing is that I'm completely fine if I lose to a better player being outplayed, match is close etc. But when I can tell at the beginning of the match that I will lose simply because I cannot compete against the premium ship I'm against, that is wrong. Lets face it, what change u have against player that has been playing for months or years? He has more experience, more skill, more skill points on the captain, ship with better stats. Unless he makes something incredibly stupid, I'm dead.
In 7 vs 7 brawl, things get more manageable, because there will be premium and regular ships on both sides and there is a room to contribute.
I refuse suggestions like not playing the brawl when I don't like it since rewards are substantial for a new player.
So imagine to be on the other side of the spectrum loosing 5 or more matches in a row not because you are completely useless player, but you lack better ships to have a fighting chance.
You may stop to be polite really fast from the frustration as I am.

1vs1 Brawl is stupid and too much ship dependent, with some premium ships having a big advantage.

 

Brawl should be minimum 3 vs 3 if not 5 v 5.

Care to list those ships? Because I often hear that. But when I look at what people show off as their successful ships in Brawls, there's a whole lot of tech tree in there.

Well agree some ship are simply op, I will say it's still possible to lose with Tirpitz, I have 0 v 3 out of all the brawls this "sprint", in my defence I got it out of my T10 certificate megas so thats my entire number of games with it, and I got to play 1 hurricane, one typhoon player all of whom were in gold ranked, and all three were in premiums themselves Odin/Tirpitz/Massa.

 

Maybe that just from the last brawl sprint as I did complete it and get the reward 10k coal, so maybe the MM remembers that I had a easy 90% WR with 3 divs.... but maybe not?

 

Im not sure why anybody without a premium is going to take say Zieten in many times unless the MM is much nicer than I'm getting due to completing last sprint?

 

(just to add in 1v1 It's not just the ship but also the captain, you can't see I was not running a full 21 and that really shows up as at least one game was down to 3-5% hp so captain and fire rng 1 salve maybe....)

Feels to me as if Bismarck would be a strong contender against Massa (and I have and love the Massa). And a kiting Zieten would have the advantage over Tirpitz. Of course you'd need to get the opportunity to kite for that. So I will give half a point for that one.

 

The premiums do have obvious advantages: Better credit income and you can just transplant any captain onto them without necessary investment. So it's no wonder you'll see a lot of them. But the ships just for themselves having a, and I quote, "big advantage" over others... I'm not sold on that. Feels like another chunk off the good old Pay2Win!!Raa!Raa! discussion to me.

You’re right. But what do you realistically except from a grind and skill focused games. Veteran players will have advantage in both. They could have skill based match making, but that was not sunshine and flowers in other games where it was introduced.

By the way, I’m a skilled player having those OP ships, but even I lost a match against a noobish Zieten.

I'm one of those "noobish" Zeiten players, don't have any other T8 BB to brawl ;)
From the two ships I listed above, was only able to beat Massa twice. Once dude charged me head on in open water and was being to able unload both sides of torps at him = completely dull. Second time when guy run a ground, same story = missplay.
Pretty rare. With Tirpitz B no so lucky so far at all, no win. Stronger armor, secondaries and quicker torp load were my downfall each time.
Don't have exact numbers of matches played, but I'd say like W:L 2:8 against Massa, 0:5 against Tirpitz B.

Then I gave up with the brawl, had enough and event was going to an end anyway.
