I mean there used to be friendly chat in 1 vs.1  brawl and compliments were exchanged regardless of the outcome... but this... -2 karma in 8 victories...

Well usually if they have the zone it ticks too fast to kill them in time. And my brain says being closer to thy enemy = you can kill them faster. without a torp bb. or any ship for that matter.

 

And im a sucker for ap I hate HE spam feels like cardinal sin to only shoot he and win by doing that.

Not really, always the case, angle control is more important.

AP Gerry BBs on deck height. Aim next to turrets and under second turret (high chance of destroying the turret). But start with three salvos HE. Remove that repair and let your secondaries burn them.

2 reports in 8 battles? When there was 1v1 with T9s I was reported every second battle.... I remember playing 25 during the weekend and getting 12 reports. Just get used to it.

This might be bizzare but they might use MM monitor (they're not coop mains, they mostly play randoms but they come to coop to do some missions etc.) And they see that you have done karma and they don't - so they're jealous and report you.

To be fair some people invested huge amount of money and time into game where devs said that they will never introduce subs, so probably they just can't leave even if rationally they should.

Not playing against something is totally wrong and if repeated should result in decision about leaving the game enforced with a swift ban. It would spare frustration for everyone.

Why not ?.   Would entering into dialogue do anything other than inflame the situation, my last 1vs1 in a hindy was against a Kleber, it didn’t last long, as all fast destroyer players do he relied on his speed, I run LM hindy so his he spamming did nothing and my hydro spotted incoming torps,  instead he should have used his stealth (LM Hindys stealth is not great), he should have gone for a cap, reset base cap with hit and run near island cover, that’s why I reported them a bad player; because they were and they knew it.

If I were teamed up with the player in 2vs2 you know full well they’d rush into the cap get whacked and leaving you to face 2 on your own, look at the state of randoms.

True but the thread here is about reporting in 1v1 brawls. 

Generally my record of reports from one battle in randoms is 7. Many of them were from my team for "kill stealing" earlier during the game (living my name hehe 🤣) . Maybe 2-3 were from enemy team cause they had an easy win if not me pulling my team that went too much forward to get damage and kills (being frustrated by me...)

This was my record 9 kills game on Musashi. Games like this you don't forget.... And those 7 reports after the battle.

One of my latest opponents (and reported as well for winning -  he died in his Tirpitz whilst I still had 30K+ HP):
