Playing high tier French DD's and Yolo Emilios in coop can get someone some negative karma too....

Coop mains are peculiar and have their own special traditions and customs. Some are certainly special.

I am one. Recently had a battle with a player in a Marceau and one in a Conqueror on our right flank. The Marceau did Marceau things, the Conqueror started cussing him out in chat. Decided to report the Conq for chat abuse and gave a +1 to the Marceau for playing his ship as it should be played in Coop.

But why?!

I cannot fathom the mindset of players who play coop against the same boring bots over and over again.

Just how can someone enjoy this atrocious experience is beyond me. Operations... ok, not really my cup of tea, but at least I can see what is interesting about it. But Coop? That's where you farm snowflakes, quickly killing one or two bots and then you need to find a way to suicide - or rather: play extremely risky to the best of your ability - or try out a new ship, if you rather want rudder or engine mod if you're not sure.

I have come to the conclusion that because of the better funded social welfare systems in EU, there are more "special" people able to play the game than in CIS for example...

Hence the community consists of a higher proportion of people with issues In Real Life (before they even sit down to what can only be a game of frustration for them...)

And like any other "social" community, there is a ripple effect of this saltiness that spreads to other participants to some extent...

GL HF

So much bovine I don't even know where to start.

I will mention that if anything, they'd have less issues in RL since there is a security net for them. Something that other places lack, putting people under a higher amount of stress. Which they'd be likely to take out whereever they can. Online games, forums and such being a classic outlet.

Other than that, I won't touch this any longer with an eye on the rules on political discussions in here.

I have played in CIS servers for 3 years, and I have more than 200 compliments, but I have only been in the EU server for 3 months,I lost 50 compliments.

people in EU severs are not peaceful:cap_viking:

I mean when you  fight against adversity, and you carry the game and win, it's ok with no compliments, instead get some reports,It's hard to feel happy。。。。。

Yes im sure thats the reason they report you :cap_haloween:

Maybe you should less use Russian language in chat :Smile_Default:

Well when they do a good job they get a compliment they deserve it  and when they do a bad job they get a report short and simple.

Issue is that trash level players can't even understand what others are doing. Say why a DD doesn't suicide rush into the cap, because that's the natural way and what they would have done. Incidentally exactly the issue with democracy, where someone with an IQ near the room temperature can vote and his vote is worth exactly as much as mine.

Especially when you're playing an Elbing or Sherman.

One guy accused me for "not going full speed" in my Sherman, pinging me and calling me names in chat. His little brain can't understand that this DD is slow and it's not the best cap contester.

Sherman is triangle. Triangle go cap. Triangle go spot. If triangle go boom, triangle bad and team bad. Only I gud!

I believe there is a semi-valid reason behind this as French and Italian DDs tend to 'steal' XP from other players in coop. The thing is, if I am grinding coop for XP and need to pass any '300, 400 or 500 XP in a single game' thresholds I will usually also use a fast ship with torpedoes, enabling me to secure a lot of damage and/or kills. The 'problem' with this is that it almost guarantees that other players will most certainly not be able to pass those thresholds as well and the probable reason for a downvote.

You post this as if this has any merit.

Not really. His use of marks around steal and problem make it rather obvious he doesn't think so. But it is an explanation of what goes on in the heads of people at times. And I would have to agree both on this being what happens at times and on it being pretty stupid, if you think about it. And I do say that as a coop main myself.
