Introduce real penalty for unsporty behaviour

Hello,

it's XMas time and snowflakes return.

It's all nice and fun until you realize snoflakes farmers returns too.

I propose ( let the flaming begin ) to multiply X 10 times service cost if you don't reach 400-500 base xp in random games.

No disconnection, no idle stuff... you need to reach a bare minimum 80 IQ to play this game.

Last match i had this halland going forward than reversing to map border, than forward again, i don't care what he was doing alt tabbed and i don't want to know.

The point is these people are runing playtime of 11 other ppl.

Well, try Operations.

You can easily farm the same damage numbers and still lose because of your teammates.

People with an above average IQ don't want to play this game and I know it because both my kids (11 and 14 years old) were tested cause of learning disabilities at school (they were bored). Both have an IQ of 119 and 130. They tried to play World of tanks and World of warships and...they don't like the game and the way of playing. Maybe WG games are not developed for highly intelligent people :-p

Relax, it is a game, not the world cup finals or world war 3

We all sometimes suffer disconnects and I guess sometimes AFK:s too for some diffuse reason (children, pets, phones, coffee spilled in keyboard etc.) 

Perhaps the Halland had screaming kids or even worse, wife, maybe the dog shat on the floor or whatever, point-wise its better for him reversing out of harms way than him getting killed.

 

It ain´t fun , no, there is a penalty system, use it and report, if the player gets enough reports he gets punished

if I am playing a team game and something happens (fire alarm in the apartment for instance) I try and let the team know I am going AFK.  It does not take long to let the team know what is happening.

 

I've known players who work as security guards at night play WoWS and get called to do some work.  If you're not in a position to complete the battle then don't press battle.

 

However, I do agree that things happen that prevent you letting the team know what is going on.  I would point out that some players do this regularly as I've been in the same team as one player for 3 or 4 battles in a row and they've done exactly the same.

 

There was even a clan that used BOTs on a regular basis.   There were threads on this in this forum. The BOT wasn't very good - they either did not move until spotted or they would sail in straight lines right into an island.

The point is that these 11 others also need  a bare minimum 80 IQ to judge that other one.

I did visit the USA and the thing is, I was amazed by the degree that people really think about freedom and the right of their own opinion. 
The way in which people are to be able to disagree on some basic things and still get along fine is admirable. 
OK I was similarly amazed by the amount of landwhales that actually think weight is a freedom of opinion, but hey.

Yes that is exactly what will happen if you give the 11 other players "control". 
I'd not be surprised if there would be a certain group that would consider it a sport to ban people. 
It would become a game within a game, to show off how many peeps you got banned today. 

 

Actually, WeeGee employees would have to be granted 'immunity' I guess. 
Or else those that play the game (wel... there are some) would be banned real quick. 

Moderators would be at risk, too.

Ya as I said before, there should be a minimum battle count and PR for higher tier DDs(and perhaps any ship class tbh but especially DDs). It's just too important a class and role. Can wing it(literally) with CV's in the battle but they're not always in the battle(I've actually come to prefer CV battles for this exact reason and didn't think I'd find myself saying that!)

 

Most battles are 3-4 DDs per team right now and they're mostly utter clueless DD players lately probably because of the Armory discount vouchers, increased coal+ steal incomes and loot containers drops.

 

This goes beyond any convenient "Then you should be protecting your DDs!" get out of jail for free card, this is just utterly useless DD players that yolo at flank-speed into enemy ships all guns blazing regardless of the DD they're playing and die before anyone's even had a chance to reload their second salvo. They die faster than anyone can save them and if their ships were faster then they'd die even faster still. That or they sit BEHIND their teams, sit in smoke like some Co-op bobs etc. Time and a place for all that. No one crime, it's a class the really needs experienced players to be able to tell the difference and read the battle and know when to push or pull back or relocated or pop smoke for their teammates or when to do it for themselves etc etc.

 

If you can't play DD's, don't play higher tiers to learn please.

You must have been to one of the better states then. Most American living overhere are ok, most I met in south and central where a rather 'less broadminded' group. Mind you, it was in my fairytale time, so not that narrowed the group maybe. But there certainly where a lot of them. And boy, freedom was a rather narrow concept in their minds.

well... Their is the problem that people tend to do ok in dd's in mid tiers, but find that higher tiers are a rather different game in many respects. I'm doing ok-ish now in them, but had to make a big step after mid tier play. Most can't really help failing, because WG is incapable of making consistent lines.

Been watching DD's, BB's, and even CV's just sail into the enemy since the patch began.
