lol, this event was shtty by design, but it is the cream on top that after you complete it, you cant get the final reward bcs its bugged. It was one of the lowest effort event ever mad and u cant pull this off without a bug. Bravo!

Definitely after 7pm
Quit and restarted game
Tried a private browser session
Tried in-game browser, Chrome, Edge
Door stays firmly closed

Oh this is great, after doing all the work i can't claim the commander. All lights are on, i tried every solution suggested, but it doesn't work.

Decided to click on every window that was already open, open another tab and 'hey presto' the last window opened. Weird or what?

I was not desperate to get this particular guy, but I wanted the complete Santa collection, even though I find their voiceovers underwhelming.

Yeah, I finished the mission yesterday. Picked up the last reward, door stayed greyed out.

Did the whole spiel of loggin on and off, trying it in browsers over the website, no dice.

Moaned about it on the German forums.

Today, he was there. *applause*

I was finally able to claim the commander, it seems to take some time from opening the last window until you can claim him.

Those windows aren't active in any of the success photos and do nothing if you click on them

edit: They are not li t on my house even after getting Pirate Santa

Shame that the calendar event is running longer than the missions to obtain all the rewards.
I am missing the Carol Clash reward and have no chance of completing it even though the calendar is still active.
Any idea how to get the Santa captain?
