How does this work exactly and how much do I get? Cheers You'll get dubs, just do 4k base exp in either of those 2 ships. But I think there was also coal, not only dubs. So you can get a Black version of a ship you already have. Which will give you a one-time combat mission you can fulfill with either, giving you a certain amount of dubloons. You still have two ships now, which will come into play with things like snowflake events, number of ships in port or when one of them is in battle (you can simply take the other). Actual direct compensation does only happen if you were to get a ship you already have in that version.
