it wasn't ... he was clearly commenting in the context of the videos (their content). not a general statement ...

I think it shows the difference perfectly between Russia and "the West". Everything here is slowly turning to brown matter. We have a woman who looks like a dude. They have a woman who looks like a woman.

What goes up, must come down, etc...

Is the production decision to dress Julls like that, not hers. Give the girl some slack.

The production team could have easily got her an outfit similar to Dasha's, have the same joyful script, same music, having the various "Santas" presenting the events.

The "West" version is sterile, barely having any feel about Christmas. Even the song is different. If you put that video in June, you couldn't know. If you put the Russian video in June straight away people will laugh for the Christmassy feel of the video which it out of season.

Wargaming are just in keeping with the English-language traditions of Christmas (or "Winterval" as it has been sometimes called to promote inclusivity)

Whereas I wish you all

Merry Christmas!

I for one found it quite amusing when it occured to me that if you take a look around Europe both Julls as well as Nathalie are kinda named after christmas. :cap_happy:

You are right.

That is kind of brilliant.

Who? TSwizzle? Who said, and I quote: " I think it shows the difference perfectly between Russia and "the West". Everything here is slowly turning to brown matter."

Suuure... No general statements at all in those two sentences.

Well, then there's the hair...

But it is the same with World of Tanks. They have stripped it of that Christmas feel they started out with, and this year it is very prominent in the garage and they way you can "deocrate" it with Science and Tech (like wtf?). They have made it more in line with the "Happy Holidays" instead of the "Merry Christmas". Everything is slowly turning brown. Year by year. I don't think it is just because of the production team. More of a general feature of reality that we will be stuck with for some time here.

We need to fight back.
