[CSOL] TheKaramelka Players 241 posts 3,747 battles Report post #1 Posted December 4, 2022 today I will not make a suggestion for ships, today I will make a suggestion for reworking models. The parameters of the aircraft do not change, only the models change so that there is a logical sequence (because the Japanese, who have many carrier-based aircraft, placed prototypes of ground-based fighters as torpedo bombers, or the Americans have serial aircraft in stock, and in the top - experimental ones that were not even released party). American planes: Spoiler I found several problems with the Americans, the first is the placement of F4U Corsair modifications. The Lexington has a 1943 modification in the top, while the stock Midway has the first 1940 modification (which could not be physically located on it). The second problem is BTD Destroyer and A1 Skyraider. The Douglas BTD Destroyer is an American dive/torpedo bomber developed for the United States Navy during World War II. A small number (30) had been delivered before the end of the war, but none saw combat, while Douglas A-1 Skyraider is an American single-seat attack aircraft in service from 1946 to the early 1980s. A total of 3180 units were produced. The third problem is the placement of the F3F Gulfhawk on Langley. Such aircraft were ordered for Saratoga and Ranger. In addition, these aircraft entered service with an aircraft carrier in January 1936, while Langley was already training at that time, and by the beginning of 1937 it was generally converted into air transport. Below, by levels, I will show which aircraft I would propose to put on certain aircraft carriers Aircraft Tier IV (Langley): Spoiler Attack aircraft: F4B (1928) Torpedo bombers: T4M (1927) Dive bombers: BM-2 (1930) Aircraft Tier V (Ranger): Spoiler Attack aircraft: F3F Gulfhawk (1936) Torpedo bombers: T4M (1927) Dive bombers: SBU Corsair (1933) Aircraft Tier VI (Ranger): Spoiler Attack aircraft: F4F Wildcat (1940) Torpedo bombers: TBD Devastator (1937) Dive bombers: SB2U Vindicator (1937) Aircraft Tier VII (Lexington): Spoiler Attack aircraft: F6F Hellcat (1943) Torpedo bombers: TBF Avenger (1942) Dive bombers: SBD Dauntless (1940) Aircraft Tier VIII (Lexington): Spoiler Attack aircraft: F4U Corsair (1940) Torpedo bombers: SB2C Helldiver (1943) Dive bombers: SB2C Helldiver (1943) Aircraft Tier IX (Midway): Spoiler Attack aircraft: F7F Tigercat (1944) Torpedo bombers: BTD Destroyer (1944) Dive bombers: BTD Destroyer (1944) Aircraft Tier X (Midway, United States, Saipan): Spoiler Attack aircraft: F8F Bearcat (1944) Torpedo bombers: AD-1 Skyraider (1950) Dive bombers: AD-1 Skyraider (1950) Japanese planes: Spoiler For the japanese planes i found deoding for them: A - Carrier-based fighter B - Carrier-based bomber or torpedo bomber C - Carrier-based Reconnaissance D - Carrier-based dive bomber E - Shipboard Reconnaissance seaplane F - Shipboard Observation seaplane G - Land-based Attack bomber H - Flying boat J - Land-based Fighter K - Trainer L - Transport M - Special seaplane MX - Special Aircraft (Experimental) N - Fighter seaplane P - Land-based Bomber Q - Patrol aircraft R - Land-based Reconnaissance aircraft S - Night fighter Thanks to this, we can decipher two aircraft presented in our game: N1K2-J Shiden-Kai and J5N Tenrai N - Fighter seaplane (because originally there was a seaplane fighter N1K Kyofu) 1 - Number 1 K - manufacturer Kawanishi 2 - The second modification J - Land-based Fighter J - Land-based Fighter 5 - Number 5 N - manufacturer Nakajima The Japanese had enough carrier-based aircraft, but instead, the developers decided to place ground-based prototypes here, besides fighters as torpedo bombers (although the Nakajima J1N Gekko could carry up to 120 bomb loads, not to mention torpedoes, and the Nakajima J5N Tenrai had much weaker engines , which clearly would not allow him to take the torpedo on board) In addition, there is a placement problem on the Shōkaku aircrafts B7A Ryūsei. Mass production began only in the spring of 1944, and they were supposed to be placed on the aircraft carrier Taiho, while Shokaku was sunk by autumn, which makes it impossible to place this type of aircraft on her Aircraft Tier IV (Hosho): Spoiler Attack aircraft: A4N (1935) Torpedo bombers: B4Y Jean (1935) Dive bombers: D1A Susie (1934) Aircraft Tier V (Ryūjō): Spoiler Attack aircraft: A5M Claude (1936) Torpedo bombers: B4Y Jean (1935) Dive bombers: D3A Val (1939) Aircraft Tier VI (Ryūjō): Spoiler Attack aircraft: A6M2 Zero (1940) Torpedo bombers: B5M Mabel (1937) Dive bombers: D4Y1 Suisei (1940) Aircraft Tier VII (Kaga, Shōkaku): Spoiler Attack aircraft: A6M5 Zero (1943) Torpedo bombers: B5N2 Kate (1937) Dive bombers: D4Y2 Suisei (1944) Aircraft Tier VIII (Shōkaku): Spoiler Attack aircraft: N1K3-A Shiden-Kai (1942) Torpedo bombers: B6N Tenzan (1943) Dive bombers: D4Y3 Suisei (1944) Aircraft Tier IX (Hakuryū): Spoiler Attack aircraft: A7M Reppū (1944) Torpedo bombers: C6N1-В Saiun (1944) Dive bombers: A7M Reppū (1944) Aircraft Tier X (Hakuryū, Sekiryu): Spoiler Attack aircraft: A8M Rikufū (1945) Torpedo bombers: B7A Ryūsei (1944) Dive bombers: B7A Ryūsei (1944) British planes: Spoiler The British are more or less with aviation, but they, like the Americans, had a lot of other aircraft, and if the Japanese can put different modifications of aircraft for a full branch, then here you can put completely different ones for each, why in this case two to put different modifications of the barracuda - it's not clear. In addition, there is a catch with the fact that from the Implacable, namely the Spearfish, were prototypes that could not enter service before 1946, while the prototypes that followed the Audacious Firebrand aircraft appeared as early as 1942, and in 43- x have already been deployed on Illustrious-class aircraft carriers. Therefore, there is no logical sequence at all. Aircraft Tier IV (Hermes): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Nimrod (1934) Torpedo bombers: Shark (1934) Dive bombers: Hart (1930) Aircraft Tier V (Furious): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Sea Gladiator (1937) Torpedo bombers: Shark (1934) Dive bombers: Swordfish (1936) Aircraft Tier VI (Furious): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Sea Hurricane (1940) Torpedo bombers: Albacore (1940) Dive bombers: Skua (1938) Aircraft Tier VII (Implacable): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Firefly (1943) Torpedo bombers: Barracuda (1943) Dive bombers: Barracuda (1943) Aircraft Tier VIII (Implacable): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Seafire (1943) Torpedo bombers: Firebrand (1943) Dive bombers: Firebrand (1943) Aircraft Tier IX (Audacious, Malta): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Sea Fury (1945) Torpedo bombers: Spearfish (1946) Dive bombers: Spearfish (1946) Aircraft Tier X (Audacious, Eagle): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Wyvern (1946) Torpedo bombers: Wyvern (1946) Dive bombers: Wyvern (1946) Aircraft Tier VI (Ark Royal): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Sea Gladiator (1937) Torpedo bombers: Swordfish Mk II (1936) Dive bombers: Swordfish Mk II (1936) Germany planes: Spoiler German aviation also had designs for twin-engine carrier-based torpedo-bombers, but instead, the developers ignored them by putting two-motor Bf.110s (which were not planned for aircraft carriers at all, although design aircraft were still taken in the Soviet branch) Aircraft Tier IV (Rhein): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Ar 68 (1936) Torpedo bombers: Ar.195 (1938) Dive bombers: He 50 (1931) Aircraft Tier V (Weser): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Ar 197 (1937) Torpedo bombers: Ar.195 (1938) Dive bombers: Ar 81 (1935) Aircraft Tier VI (Weser): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Bf 109E (1938) Torpedo bombers: Fi 167 (1938) Dive bombers: Fi 167 (1938) Aircraft Tier VII (August von Parseval): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Bf 109T (1939) Torpedo bombers: Fi P.19 (1939) Dive bombers: Fi P.19 (1939) Aircraft Tier VIII (August von Parseval): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Bf 109G (1941) Torpedo bombers: Fi P.22А (1940) Dive bombers: Ar 310 (1940) Aircraft Tier IX (Manfred von Richthofen): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Fw 190A8 (1944) Torpedo bombers: Fi P.22C (1940) Dive bombers: Fi P.22C (1940) Aircraft Tier X (Manfred von Richthofen): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Me 155B (1943) Torpedo bombers: Ta 152C-1/R14 (1945) Dive bombers: Ta 152C-1/R14 (1945) Aircraft Tier VIII (Graf Zeppelin): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Me 155A (1942) Torpedo bombers: Ju 87E (1940) Dive bombers: Ju 87E (1940) Aircraft Tier X (Max Immelman): Spoiler Torpedo bombers: Fi P.22C (1940) Skip bombers: Ta 152C-1/R14 (1945) Soviet planes: Spoiler In the Soviet branch, I was confused by a few things, namely the order in which the planes were arranged by year, as well as their purpose. For example, Nakhimov also has in stock torpedo bombers Chetvertikov PT-1 (M-82) specially designed for an aircraft carrier, developed in 1944, but in the top there is an experimental aircraft developed in a single copy, the attack aircraft Polikarpov VIT-2 (VK-107), which took off for the first time already in 1938, and if you look at the VK-107 engine, then the year of the first flight and production would have been 1942. Aircraft Tier IV (Komsomolets): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Polikarpov I-15 (1934) Torpedo bombers: Polikarpov R-5T (1934) Skip bombers: TsKB ShON (1931) Aircraft Tier V (Serov): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Polikarpov I-153 (1938) Torpedo bombers: Polikarpov R-5T (1934) Skip bombers: Kochyerigin BSh-1 (1937) Aircraft Tier VI (Serov): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Polikarpov I-180 (1939) Torpedo bombers: Grokhovsky G-37 (1934) Skip bombers: Kochyerigin LBSh (1939) Aircraft Tier VII (Pobeda): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Yakovlev Yak-1 (1940) Torpedo bombers: Sukhoi Su-2 (M-82) (1941) Skip bombers: Kochyerigin OPB (M-82) (1941) Aircraft Tier VIII (Pobeda): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Yakovlev Yak-9U (1943) Torpedo bombers: Polikarpov VIT-2 (VK-107) (1942) Skip bombers: Sukhoi Su-2 (1941) Aircraft Tier IX (Admiral Nakhimov): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Lavochkin La-5FN (1943) Torpedo bombers: Tairov Ta-3 (M-88) (1943) Skip bombers: Kochyerigin OPB (AM-37) Aircraft Tier X (Admiral Nakhimov): Spoiler Attack aircraft: Lavochkin La-9 (1946) Torpedo bombers: Chyetverikov PT-1 (M-82) (1944) Skip bombers: Sukhoi Su-6 (AM-42) (1944) Aircraft Tier VIII (Chkalov): Spoiler Torpedo bombers: Chyetverikov PT-1 (M-82) (1944) Dive bombers: Sukhoi Su-2 (1941) Skip bombers: Sukhoi Su-2 (1941) If you don't like my posts, PLEASE don't comment them, don't bring yourself and me into conflict. This is my personal proposal and not the fact that developers will take it into account and make adjustments proposed by me to the game! Thank you for your attention! 4

I don't think this will lead to any changes whatsoever, unfortunately. (And personally I'd like to see more use out of the Val and Sea Hurricane, but that is just me.) But it would be kind of nice.

This level of complexity may be beyond WG's potential. They aren't doing actually much game development these days (whereas there seems to be a premium ship conveyor belt in operation somewhere). If they'd just sort out the basic stuff, I'd even be pretty happy with that. Of course, for OP.
