Fix the missions to 4 again, and report back on the experiment to see how much grind you can impose on your player base before they quit playing and you will see more players in brawl.

At the moment brawl is just a way to escape the stupid game spoiling CVs and subs.

 

Honestly, who at WG thought it was a good idea to have subs in the game and then have premium tier 5+ DDs with no anti sub weapons?????

we don't even have more ships in the game in brawl tier 8-9-10.. only 1vs1.. what does it save you ships..?.. I don't understand you at all .. only in tier 4 and 5  I've had several ships.. do the job only upside down.. like ranked level 5..scuse me bad english..

i like good brawl battle with many ships..many damage..no 1vs1..what is this..1vs1..?..bb vs dd.., cv vs dd or bb.. is very bad..no division..nothing..i hate 1vs1..like training

I think the reason for 6 battles is that it is 1v1, very fast battles, 3-4 mins each. Even 3-v3 lasts over 5-6 minutes. So total grind time still faster then other seasons.

You take your best brawler ship  of the tier to 1v1 and polish your technik battle by battle. This is the meaning of this. There were and are always different brawls. They are short in period, so everyone can have what they like. If you don't like 1v1 wait for next season, coming in a week or two I think, and there will be 5 or six different composition brawl during Christmas. 1v1 is really a training scenario where you can sharpen your best knife for random and ranked. You can earn decent credit and easy to collect commander XP, so u can train commanders very fast in brawl. 1v1 battles are fast, 3-4 minutes, so you have a swift rebound and you can use what you learned in minutes.

For me it is Heinrich time. I tried DD, I really wanted to be good in brawl with DD. Played 10 battles, lost 8. Lost against cruisers and BB all the time, against DDs half the time. I switched to old faithful Heinrich. Won every single one of them so far, butchering everything. I'm not good enough with DDs. Or chosing the wrong ones to brawl.

yup dd is easy picking  its cv against bb little harder  but dd is useles indeed

Cruisers in the present meta are really difficult to brawl with. The last commander rework really screwed them. Cruisers with torpedoes and hydros may have some chance, but no, they are not good in 1v1. CV is the ultimate choice, but it is so boring and luckily no T7 CVs. Brawler BBs are kings in 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3. Brawls are short, (just one week) and normally week after week a different composition comes. The point of brawls is to take you out of your comfort zone and lets you exercise something else then what usually do.If you usually play cruisers, here is your opportunity to sharpen one or two brawler BBs in your port. Take Gneisenau, Scharnhorst or Heinrich to battle with full secondary build. Or some heavy cruisers with torps, like Maya.

There's a strategy, tactic, config for every constellation.

 

That's brawl and therein lies the fun of it. (Not to mention the learning factor u can draw out of it, especially on 1x1)

As someone who mains on DDs..  with some US CAs in port these 1v1 Brawls are just pointless.  I've managed to kill off one Kurfurst with my DM.. otherwise I just get annihilated.  DDs don't stand much of a chance vs cruisers.. esp DM.. but these brawling BBs with hydro are also pretty much invulnerable to DDs if played in any sensible fashion because cruisers and DDs are essentially team playing tools.  The only ship to take is the Brawling BB.

 

1v1 Brawls aren't about how good you are..  it's about how suited your ship is to the meta, and whether you win the "rock paper scissors" of the MM.  If you don't have a brawling BB..  don't bother trying.

i played in 2 days the complete series  bb is harder to win but rest easy

i like these 1 on 1 u dont have team wich dont fight for the win 

its  how good a playr ur self are

did them all in 2 days in a cruiser  japanese cruiser Tokachi 

just this cruiser  and in  and won 4 aut of 6 battles

I hate that ship. I hated the guts of when I did the grinding of that branch. Of course I played it wrong but I still hate it, I have PTSD :)
