Why spend 1 000 000 fxp and 19 000 doubloons  on a ship that you can buy for coal in a couple of weeks. she doesn't even come with a  flag. the price is almost the same as for Småland and Hayate.

stop this moneygrap and wait for her for coal. you can use any commonder on this ship so that 12 skill is not needed.

Marketing is also kind of weird, showing the ship cruising past snow capped mountains?, "Admiral of the North?, " sure you haven't confused the Netherlands with Norway, Finland or Sweden?

Why on earth would WeeGreedy think that people would be so stupid to pay 38,450 doubloons to get a tier 10 ship when we can get it in 2 week for coal @Seraphice @Just_Cheg @YabbaCoe ??

Normally this is mentioned in the article as well, not sure why it isn't now. But clearly to make it seem like you have just 2 weeks to get her this way.

Well, if you don't wish to spend as many doubloons you can get a 50% discount with freeXP. Or you can wait 2 weeks and get it for coal like you mentioned.

And for those who do wish to spend that money on her, that is their choice - we do make it clear the ship will be available for coal.

It was mentioned in the devlog and its also said on our stream as well as streams/videos and reviews from CCs. As for why this is not in the article itself, I don't have an answer at the moment.

Sorry @Seraphice I have better use of my freeXP than use them for a ship i can get for coal in 2 weeks.

there is always a reason why a ship is out for doubloons or money in premiumshop before we can buy them for coal or fxp even if there was a long time for a fxp ship now. even the early access has that function now . butt sorry I will wait so I can researh that ijn cruiser.

I showed the ship yesterday on stream and will reiterate it here

While the ship may not be the strongest or the best in all situations, she can be a ton of fun. Reminds me a bit of Austin in that way. Situationally extremely fun.
I personally really enjoyed all my games in her so far and its definitely possible to play around her shortcomings. I believe Yuzorah's review covered it well.

With Xmas snowflakes incoming and a full port with almost all T5-T7 and a clanbonus of 10% I am looking at 240k+ ish coal. In addition to the usual coal from playing the game, containers plus my current stash etc. 
 

Will get Malta ( 25% coupon) and probably the Spanish dd. Tromp has a lower priority since it’s not in the Santa crate loot box. And I prefer to “ eliminate” free to get ships from the Santa pool first.
 

Tromp is good for around Mai 2023, no rush. No doubloons or FXP required.
