Tier 9/10 broken, supership bs

It's just another tier on top, t11 so to say. Meeting t11 with t9 is the same as play 7vs9 and so on. -2mm also brings factors with it that make your life harder. For example kamikaze with 7km vs radar cruisers, non heal cruisers vs cruisers with heal and many more examples.

 

 

For the p2w part -> what exactly is p2w here? Cause 300 ships or so are available in early access globally? You can literally buy those later with credits / theres already a handful available.

 

The first edgar I saw after her auction for example died in 2 ap salvos from my ca 3min in cause broadside best side... which is very painful as i know what that thing is capable of from tesring her. So much for p2w. Having access to t11 doesn't magically make you a unicum player, sorry. The same goes for playing a yamato in a t8 match for example, if you show broadside you will get deleted very fast.

Maybe, if you didn't allow a SS to take any credit boosters and raised their battle cost to say 1M credits, those of us who are F2P and can't afford superships, wouldn't have to constantly face them in battle.

if you play in divs you can use a T8 as div anchor to (try to) avoid Supershits

 

we tried this one evening about a month ago - 11 battles :

- 7 battles with full T9 div, 6 battles had Supershits in them, 4 battles had 4 or more Supershits in them

this annoyed us so much we decided to fail div

- 4 battles with 2x T9 and 1x T8 division, all were TX games but no Supershits so i see that as a victory

I already encountered t8 fail divs in t10 with superships. please don't do it

don't worry, I've stopped playing Randoms (mostly) - the best way to avoid Supershits

 

regardless, playing 998 div is still a good way to avoid Supershits

You have to add that the Tier VIII should be a CV, otherwise the anchor does not work.

When Tier VIII and IX ships are in one division, than the division counts as Tier IX.

But when you add a Tier VIII CV, then the MM additionally HAS TO look for a Tier VIII CV for the enemy team (mirror MM). As long as that CV is not in a Tier IX division, then that Tier VIII CV anchors the whole match at a maxium of Tier X Battle Tier. Otherwise the division counts as Tier IX and can face Superships.

no it will match you against superships. And it will wait so long that double cv game in t10 happens if needed.

Believe me I know first hand experience

Ok. I thought MM first tries to match all tiers in the teams, before doing some wonky stuff.

i.e. if you can get your div T8 mirrored with a solo T8, you can get TX at most

it can happen and the MM will force it if you already reached a certain %amount of same and downtier battles. And if it happens it really will be painful for the Cv player.

luckily it seems like they'll bring T9 into Ops as well so at least some fun is still possible
