You know guys, it should be great if, like in legends, you could spend a certain amount of consumable camouflages ti make it a permanent one. 

You could also don't do that the rarer the camo, the more you'll need to exchange.

Camos, now nothing but pure aesthetic, are pointless. My ships look better as their rusty selves, more realistic. Why not take it further and make overlays / live 3d camos for those that want to see a sailor or two running around, etc? That would make it more immersive.

Bottom right corner within your port, just above your list with ships. You have a tiny icon with camo settings. Disabling it here will disable it everywhere.

Just remove them from the Exterior tab.

I spent time and efford to acquire those camos. Now -since they are absolutely useless- they are rotting in my vault. I dont need them because they are pretty - I wanted them for the bonusses.

I assume WG spent time and efford to make all those camos (besides the design-a-camo-competitions).

Obviously wasted time and efford on both sides.

 

Also, I cant understand why a company is not listening to their (paying) customers.

Isn't it a crying shame that Wargaming have rendered Camo's as useless, because of the removal of camo bonuses with the economic rework.

 

Every camo I get now in crates etc, I now sell for credits.

 

Way to go Wargaming, yet another stupid decision.

The button to disable certain non-historical camos is so small and hard to spot that I forgot it was there! Thanks for this article, I can now enjoy the game a little more. I am surprised to see so many to complain about camos being 'pointless' by saying that they only liked camos for the bonues - news flash, if you only wanted a camo for the bonus, then the camo has always been pointless in your eyes. And as v0k27 said, you can now sell the ones you don't like for lots of credits! For my two cents, I like the separation of aesthetics and economic rewards, as now I don't have to make my ship look pig-ugly to get a hefty economic bonus and I can always use my fav camos.

 

Though, since all perma-camos now only offer a visual benefit, is there really a need for the higher tier 'default' camos to cost five thousand dubs??? I get the fancy and special camos costing a lot still, but surely all historical, non-exclusive camos should be reduced to 200 dubs at all tiers? I hope that change comes along soon, though it is nice that the first camo costs only 200 dubs, as now I can put perma-camos on all my fav tech tree ships!

By the way most of the players sold their camos
That shows how disconnect you are from the player base

As others have said, the camouflages are nothing other than decorations. When they came with bonuses, they were worth bothering about. Now it is a different story.

 

A lot of us have permanent camouflages on ships for legacy reasons.

The question why do we need  Cammo's is so easy to answer WeeGee, We  Don't Anymore and it was your Dumb Idea to make it so, If someone wants to play the game looking like a Christmas Tree fine by me the one's I have ( that don't look stupid) stay on the ship No Way in Hell am I buying Worthless Pixels or for that matter anything in this Sub Infested Car Crash Game anymore.

Recently you gave out 2 free permanent camos; one for the Hipper and another for the KGV. In neither occasion did you give out bonus packages despite said packages being the main allure of the camouflages. Why are those missing?

 

Why is it that the anniversary event this year only gave a measly 3 bonus packages when every previous event has given more?

 

Why is it that camouflages after the first purchase are still full price despite being infinitely less valuable?

 

Why is it that the tier 5 bonus packages cost the same as the tier 6 ones despite being a full tier lower?

 

Why is it that the bonus packages in events are now given after the camouflages, making it so that I need to waste extra resources just to get what I actually want? In the italian battleship event I got a tier 4 ship, a tier 5 ship, a tier 6 ship with a camouflage and a bonus package, a tier 7 ship with a camouflage and a bonus package and a camouflage and bonus package for a tier 8 ship. Had I spent some of my resources I could have gotten the tier 8 ship as well.

In the current event I can get 1 tier 5 ship, 1 tier 6 ship, 1 tier 7 ship with a bonus package and a camouflage for a tier 8 ship. If I want the bonus package for the tier 5, I need to gamble on lootboxes. If I want the package for the tier 6 I need to buy it with my resources. If I want the package for the tier 8, I need to buy it with even more of my resources and if I want the tier 8 ship I need to pay real money.

 

This event is completely inferior in terms of rewards to the italian battleships event. Why is that?

 

Why are you making the game worse and less rewarding for your players and paying customers?

 

 

 

Why don't you understand that trying to fleece your customers will make them want to give you less money, not more?

We all know that is a croc of crap pal.

People grinded for the camos to get the bonus that they used to have etc etc etc.

Very few players would grind / pay for a camo because it looked good.

75% of them look awful anyway.

Unfortunately having sailors on deck in battle is not possible - this would affect the age rating.
