Well I bought some bf crates and got 3 cvs and the mainz, I don't play cvs but I have to to get the dubs

Agree with that, I hit phase 50 yesterday, and got accused of paying gold to get there. Most of the players said they were on levels 37 to 39 so I assume they have not paid for the pass.

You only get the additional missions if you spend 6000 dubs on it, the standard 2500 pass does not get anything extra.

There is no reason to buy it early if you go for the 2500 pass, as it changes only the rewards.

Oh man, you're right. Then WG is going to free us from the grind by increasing the requirements. I'll stop grinding as it's a pointless time waste.

Not playing T11 is a mistake. They are free to get and the most OP ship in the game. You only need to grind credits, which is easier than grinding coal or steel. You can get a premium account for a year at Christmas for 12000 doubloons that you can get for free/reduced price with the birthday coupon. The best money spent on the game. How much will you pay for Jean-Bart black? For that amount of money you can support playing a variety of OP T11 ships.

You are absolutely right. I always wanted to have Jean Bart but when it was in the armory I could not get JB in time so on last Black Friday I payed 52 euros from my credit card to get JB. I have never paid a ship so high price and I dont buy ships anymore. Before buying JB I bought Mainz and Atago for doubloons, so I whaled almost 200 euros for ships, for lets say 5 premiums. I bought all the best ships in the armory so I dont have any reason to buy anything else. I havent spent anything for a year but I have some spare doubloons for the black friday chain. I wont gamble anymore or buy premium ships because I dont like where the game is going, OP CVs, hybrid bbs, superships and subs. I like the concept and playing the game like once was 3-4 years ago. I would like that concept to stay and not all this new classes of ships which dumpster you from any range.

Well, didn't get my birthday coupon, so decided to tone down my spend on BF, i.e. spent around £17 for dubs, to add to the couple of thousand dubs left in my account. I went for the shin b via the bundles in the armoury,  and from the premium containers got the asashio b and tirpitz b, finished the last 6 or so stages of battle pass and still left with just over 3000 dubs and whatever all the bits and pieces were inbetween in the bundles and from the battle pass. Cannot complain. Thanks WG. If I'd got that coupon there was the liklhood of me splashing out a little more, but very happy with these results. Got far more than I hoped from the little I spent.

Only if you buy BP Plus, where you get 1 mission extra per week. The rewards rewards remain the same for Battle Pass (2.500 dubs) versus BP + (6.250 dubs). 

 

Just to clarify your answer a bit more precise.......

 

Whether the additional payment a smart thing is to do as it only provides 1 extra mission p/w week, combined with some additional cost reductions, I doubt it sincerely.

 

For the difference of 3.750 dubs I can transfer/retrain 7 captains for example, but in 1 BP period I really doubt that. And you still pay 50% retraining costs in dubs with the BP Plus packages, so you spent more and more.

If I get ANY black friday event ship (either pull them or buy them) while I have the same regular version I get access to ALL 4 special missions that need to be completed with specific ships and reward a total of 9000 Dubloons, 25k Coal and 100k free XP?

 

Wouldn't that mean that if I buy even the Mainz for only 7300 Dubloons, I can complete all those missions and get away with the extra Dubloons?

 

Or am I missing something?

- there are more than 4 missions, 1 mission for each ship

- of course you will get only the mission for the B ship you received during this special
