You have gotten a non-answer from WG, welcome to the club. 

 

WG has no intention of fixing the API, I guess the person who knows how has either a very long holiday or has found an employer who cares about their product. 

 

Now, please, never again expect an answer from WG that makes sense or is helpful.

I can confirm the APIs do not list the new black ships (I'm currently working on an app using these APIs).
I think WoWs ShipBuilder got the reference as I've done myself: when you encounter an "unknown" ship in a battle, you identify the ship id in the temporary file generated when a battle starts and you add it manually to your ships list.
I've done this before with submarines as they are not listed by the APIs as well.

Something you can do manually, but WG cannot do automaticly. Incompetance at it's highest level. Such a shame.

My reply was for the "WoWs ShipBuilder lists the black ships, hence our APIs work correctly" .
I can technically understand why subs are not listed : a new class will certainly require some technical adjustements to the APIs, and as they have not been updated since 2018, it's unlikely WG will do it now.
But for these new ships of existing classes, there is no technical reason the APIs does not list them: some new ships added recently (St. Vincent for instance) are exposed by the APIs.
So I think (hope) WG simply forgot to add the new black ships, and it's not a big deal to acknowledge it.

Omg. This is the ships stats in the game. I was asking for the players stats to see how good or bad your stats are for your ships, so that you can improve them. This has nothing to do with ship player stats. COME ON WG!

 

How can you not add 5 black friday ships to the API, when you can add all these new superships, new lines St. Vincent for that matter????

I hope and appreciate that you are working on that app. WG are clearly Incompetent to do that themselfs.

Maybe I was not clear: I'm not working neither for WoWs ShipBuilder nor for wows-numbers.
I'm currently building my own app (I'm testing it for 1 or 2 months before publishing it) which requires the list of ships , that's why I'm also concerned by this missing ships problem.
For wows-numbers, it's even more trouble: you have some workarounds for building ships list (as I explained in my previous post) but for players stats, you don't have any.

I'm pessimist about apps/websites using these APIs for players stats: no update for 4 years, submarines still missing after almost 1 year,...
If, as a company, you want your APIs to be really used, you don't leave them in this state for such a long time.
