Hello Wargaming, I have a question about the high tier random mode:
Are you aware that the rounds are extremely one-dimensional at the moment? There are hardly any exciting rounds left.
Many rounds don't even reach the 10 minute mark because many captains let their ships sink so incredibly quickly.
You have many rounds where one team has been decimated by half while the other is still complete.
If you are aware of this, then I would like to know what you intend to do about it? What are your plans?
This trend has been evident for some time, but I don't see any action being taken by Wargaming, hence my question.
@Seraphice I would ask you to forward the question, thanks.
PS: Maybe this also applies to the other tiers, but I can't judge that because I don't like playing them.
I've thought for a while on how best to approach this - I don't think that I can give you the answer you are looking for necessarily unfortunately.
There has definitely been a sentiment that has gone around regarding this topic for a while now - blowout games, one-sided games. Of the sentiment we are aware.
FWIW, It's something that we do look at and investigate when this is brought up.
Even so - the fix for such an issue is hardly simple, also because it is something that is mostly perception based. Nothing has really changed in the fundamentals of our matchmaker - people are matched based on their ship type and wherever possible mirrored by nation, omitting any division shenanigans. Then you would have to look at other things as maybe TTK which is also something that is not easily "fixed".
So I dont think I can give you a direct answer of "is this a thing, and if so are you planning to do something about it". However we are aware of this sentiment and it is something we will keep bringing up, but like I said, a fix for such a thing would be hardly around the corner.
I hope that is at least a somewhat satisfactory answer.
Fair seas captain!
