Camera following the target, although its unchecked?

Hey,

As the title says: my camera is following the enemy ship, although its unchecked in the settings.. anyone has this problem too or has any idea how to fix that ? pretty annoying.

Lock on bug, it might be locked on it but the UI doesn't show. A vice versa, sometimes shows its locked but in reality it locked out.

Also mods used may or may not induce funny behavior. Especially ones that were copy/pasted from previous game version without updates

so what to do against it? i checked it in settings, applied it, and unchecked it again. no change.

start the game in save mode and see if it's still there. If save mode fixes the issue then uninstall or update all mods

In my case it happened in Gouden Leeuw in the airstrike mode, the guy was out of my airstrike range but the camera was still following him. Went back to guns and back to airstrike and it was ok.

It's a bug and you have to wait for the next patch, because WG isn't going to do a hotfix for it.

Thanks for the tip, but i still have the same problem there. 

Does somebody have any idea where i can find this setting in the WOWS-Folder to set it manually ?

I recently reinstalled windows and now installed WoWs again. I thought it was a problem on my end, but it looks like it's a bug of the current patch. I've found a reddit post of a guy who also has this issue (since last patch).

Apparently not many people use to play with the track option off, because I don't see many people talk about it.

 

We can agree if you're used to having it off, it's almost unplayable with it being on.

 

I hope we get a quick fix for this.
