Wargaming currently wanted to give us the time to get used to the submarines, hence this poll to see how this process is doing so far.

And what do you think of the process of getting used to it in general?

1) I am not adjusting; I am not playing any battles where submarines could be present.

2) They should be removed or banished into their own mode.

3) I play less because the queue times at T4 are a bit longer than at submarine infested tiers.

4) My financial commitment was already a flat 0 after the CV rework.

5) I have never ever recommended this game to anyone even before submarines.

The, so called, Submarines are the biggest Fluster Cuck that WG has ever forced on to the player base.

It is going to cost them a lot of money and whoever decided to roll them into the game needs to understand business sense because pissing off a player base will drive them away.

This game, 5 years ago, was advertised everywhere, and everyone was talking about it..

It's as if WeeGee are bored and want the game to die.

  1. I like them less; not so much because of the things themselves, but because of WG's behaviour around them.
  2. I'd like them to be reworked: I actively want submarines in the game if they're a good addition, but the current implementation is utter bollix! Failing that, put them in their own mode exclusively.
  3. I'm playing a *lot* less; submarines have effectively cured me of my completist tendencies, which has caused my playing time to crater.
  4. Spending a *lot* less, although not nothing - some 'for money' stuff is still worth my while for use in non-submarine modes, but that's a much smaller sub-set of the things I could have been persuaded to pay for previously.
  5. Absolutely. I used to recommend the game to folks with similar interests to me; now I'd tell them to actively avoid it - there are far better choices if you're looking for a game to start from scratch with.

What do you think about being granted time to get used to submarines?

What I forgot to write in the initial post:

It would be great if you do a little publicity for the survey so as many as possible take part, thanks.

WG succeeded in driving me away, and I quit the game a few weeks ago.
The last time I quit was around March this year when superships were introduced.

Ranked was the only reason I came back in summer, as it meant I could play my T10s without superships and subs.
Now that ranked contains the terrible T5, T7 and T10 being lumped together with superships, I no longer have any reason to play the game.

I miss it from time to time, but overall the frustration from facing superships and subs is not worth my time anymore, let alone my money.

Perhaps a metaphor is in order: you know crampons? The ice-climbing gear that clips to your boots, to enable climbing up ice walls (or possibly chalk, if you're brave)?

Imagine being kicked square in the cod by someone wearing such things.

I think it's a reasonable hypothesis that all the time in the world is never going to get you used to being kicked in said cod, with big boots with spikes on the end...

Is the poll bias because it's likely that most on the forums are known to hate subs or are at least more vocal about their dislike thereof? Therefore any poll on these forums is simply going to say much of the same thing over and over. Don't shoot me, I'm only asking. I look at the game line up when I press battle and there always seems to be a reasonable proportion of sub players in the lineup.

Seeing as the poll is anonymous that should help encourage those who like submarines to feel free to answer the poll without fear of being criticised (granted they may not wish to explain their reasoning below but they can still answer the poll).

To be fair to the OP, the questions have also been pretty neutral and avoids a lot of the hyperbole many on the forum tend to use.

No it is not.

There is a term, vocal minority, which people used to hear somewhere and now pretend that in this case a so called "vocal minority" is just voicing concerns.

But this is not true. In this case we talk about the majority of the vocal playerbase. Thats 2 different terms.  And this makes a huge different. The vocal playerbase is everyone that plays the game and participates to some degree on reddit, youtube, twitch, this forum, whatever. The vocal playerbase is usually between 5% and 25%. 25% on rather competitive games, 5% on casual games. It is hard to tell without infos from wargaming how mayn we are.  Still, a vocal playerbase is usually advertising and spreading a game in the most effective way, it is a form of viral marketing. Games grow or die depending on a vocal playerbase. As soon as thesevocal  players leave, you get negative fluctuations, or start bleeding players. You lose more old or active players than new ones to fill up, and the playerbase starts shrinking.

So are these comments here, the downvoites on youtube, the negative polls on Twitch. A minority like Unicums, voicing how bad Subs are for the game. Or is the majority of people that used to celebrate or talk about this game against subs? It looks for me, like the majority of the Vocal playerbase and not like a minority. But there are reasons the game is not crumbling down. The biggest, there is no competitor to this. Or no alternative for the regular player.
