This is the main reason I’m thinking not getting her, the tech tree inwards torpedo aiming is the best feature on British CV. Plus the large hull detection is also a turn off for me.

I can wait 2 weeks. In fact I can wait a year. With discount coupon spent and just around 100k coal I expect that I will be buying coal ships again around December ( with coupon combined with a maxed out harbor for that sweet coal and steel snowflakes).

 

With available coal premiums left I probably will settle for the T10 Spanish DD ( with coupon) and either Tulsa or Iwami. The first for the extra Satan crate token, the second to eliminate a possible Freemium drop from the Satan crate loottable. With only a few T8 and T9 premiums remaining I would like to atleast have it to be a doubloon only ship.

 

So priority now:

Xmas period:

T10 Alvaro ( coupon)

T9 Tulsa/ Iwami

 

Before Mai ( without coupon) :

Tulsa/ Iwami

 

Before Wows8th anniversary

Only thing I missed this year was an event chain that gave a free premium T6 container. On the other hand we had 2 premium T6/T7 ship rewards as an intermediate dockyard ship reward. With another T7 coming next DY.  And while WG did put an end to the “CT for doubloons” trade they reinstated the main part ( CT for premiums).

 

As for your example: T10 tokens for mega was only 2022. Before it was just the small Santa crate. Seems wg is rather adding f2p then removing…but the entitlement some players have…

I have been playing this game for 3 years, the f2p rewards are much less than before. If you haven’t noticed good for you. Credits, combat flags, special signals all are either much harder to earn or gone completely.

 

why are you getting pissed off? All I said was don’t count on WG give you same free Xmas containers this year based on previous years.

I played too at that time. No monthly/ weekly missions and no log in SC reward. Only regular thing was a 100% win bonus in the weekend. Flag rewards fully depending on achievements. Mission progress only in randoms. New line added? Good luck starting at lvl 1. And then the low level of bonusses available for us.. A camo that gave 100% XP was exceptional  at that time. Permanent camo of low ships gave 30% xp bonus instead of 50%. Compare that with the 300% camo’s we had before and recently just the basic green and blue’s…

 

We got some premium ships then, we still get them now ( either through secondary DY reward or CT). Only thing is that much now is added behind payed content. But if you compare what is f2p now and what you had to grind for then we stil get way more. 
 

Actually the rather low intensity of events was fine with me. I don’t want another event/ line/ DY each month/ update. But due to having way more events we also get way more f2p then whatever we got in the earlier stages.. As for the main free premium give away at the early game ( the ARP ships), they were without camo and premium bonus that time.

Yeah we didnt have dailiy stuff BUT we had achievment flags and when the events and campaigns started rolling in we got decent amounts of free or almost free stuff, then bunch of f*tard CCs started crying how its 2 easy to grind and all get 2 much stuff quietly forgetting that they get much of that stuff free BECAUSE they are CCs and they started screaming for WG to give away less and less supported by some "aware players" (some even here) and now WG made their wish come true, we get sh*t and they moved on to other games (Flambass is a good example of that for instance) leaving us to eat sh*t here... Now we get NOTHING OF VALUE for free anymore, read my lips - NOTHING, getting like 10-15 wothwhile bonuses a month is laughable green and grey stuff is just a bit better then having none

Did we get coal before to buy premiums? Nope.

Did we get CT before to buy premiums? Nope.

Did we get more combat flags from achievements then we get now through missions, crates etc. Nope for 90% of the playerbase.

 

For some reason I cannot remember the awesome rewards form earlier times. I do remember the Graf Spee Xmas reward troubles with EU server being shafted though..And the Emden , a wholesome T2 being the Xmas reward before… As for the awesome campaign rewards..Kamikaze R was indeed nice, we had some T3 premium rewards too ( which can now be had for CT) and yes PR1 could be grinded for “free”.

 

In fact there is way more to get f2p now then in earlier time. It’s just that inflation and even greater rewards blocked behind your creditcard gives an distorted idea of what we actually still get f2p..

Who remember now that there was a flag given (for ranked battles time) on rank 5 which gave boost to credits on every ship u mounted it on. Lot of boost, awards gone forgotten.

Also people tend to forget 4 ARP Kongo sisters, 3-4 ARP Myoko sisters (cant remember) and an ARP Takao we got for a bit of random play, Oktobarskaya, Indianapolis marathos and many others ok we have DY now but we got camos and signals and we still got ships so we have similar ship prizes now just with less of the other stuff attached… Also not only does one get less free stuff (I could say that is understandable) bit when one DOES buy in it yields both a) less and b) less worth a stuff and the “value for buck” is constantly dropping like a stone

didn't test her but due to seeing her and my CV knowledge I can safely say she will be one of the best cvs, outclassing Audacious

i like to play CVs and I have all Cvs there are apart Saipan and its clone. I plaied on weeked 6 or so t10 CV games and I encountered 2 Malta players in those 6 games. Ofcourse sample is small for any conclusion but someone definitely bought that ship or at least I think it like that.
