Stuck in a Devision

Can't ready or close my devision anymore. Game Play impossible.

What now? :angry:

I have a similar problem, though I wasn't in a division at all. My South Carolina somehow got stuck in battle (and is still in battle, 10 hours later) and I can't play any other ship. When I click on "Battle!" I get the loading logo (not the screen, just logo) for about a second and get thrown back into port.

Very frustrating.

 

South Carolina got stuck by me clicking on "Battle!" and nothing happening, so I reconnected and saw it somehow got into battle.

Boy - this bug is a real game spoiler. This is the third day that WoWs programers seem to still be tapping in the dark without a solution. Hope this problem is solved soon before the media scare people away from this great game. After 3 days of waiting, I am also beginning to lose confidence in Wargaming's programing competence.

My devision Partner, who I invited to the devision just informed me, that he is free now and capable to Play again. My devision Windows now Shows no active members, but I still cannot Close it!
 

I am still stuck with the devision and cannot Close it or start a battle. :(

It seems that you have unfortunately stumbled upon a bug that we are already aware of.

Since the last patch this issue is affecting some of our players and our developers are already working on trying to solve this as fast as possible and I hope that things get back to normal soon.

Waiting for the daily server restart at 5am should solve the problem.

At least that is what disbanded all stuck divisions when this bug appeared in the past.

I have had this problem now for 48 hours, but isnt the server restarted daily? i read on the main page some where about daily restarts, but so far either its not been restarted or the restart didnt fix it.

Sorry to disappoint, but the server restart didn't help. As the division commander I'm still stuck while my friend was released from the division about 2 hours after we encountered the bug.

my friend is the leader but has not been on to check, im the member and so far nothing i tried works, so atleast he is lucky. how did he manage to release it so we can test ?

I'm not sure he did anything. Yesterday we stumbled upon this bug and ca. 2 hours later I logged back in, in the vain hope that a micacle happend. ;)

 

And there I saw that I was alone in the division.

 

I'm sorry that I can't be more specific or helpful. :(

I guess that should answer your question :great:

 

From what I heard is that we will get back our Tokens as soon as Open Beta starts, so in the end we won't lose any Tokens and can spend them on premium time again. Or did I miss something?

you are correct, every thing we get now is just a "test" copy of what we will get at the start of the game when they wipe the game for good, before release

 

you are actually getting twice the worth of any "gold spent" at this time, as you will get them all back, and can spend them again.

See this is problem when you are selling beta program.

 

They are not "selling beta program".

They are selling preorder of gold for when the game launches and let you use that same amount of gold in the beta as well before you get it for real to allow testing of the gold system as well as rest of the game.

You are not entitled to the gold that you get before the launch and you have not paid for it. You have paid for gold that you get after the launch. The rest is "free".

My friend and I also have this problem, almost 24 hours we have been stuck in a division, I have raised a ticket for which I am awaiting a reply but I have read nothing on here about any solution to the issue, does anyone have any ideas what to do or is it a case of just wait for it to resolve itself?

Ok, that's strange.

 

As far as my understanding of mods goes they shouldn't be able to create that problem, still it might be worth a try to delete all mods in case you have any and try again after a server restart.

Another thing you could try would be to c&p your preferences.xml to some other folder and delete the preferences.xml in the game folder.

In case all that doesn't help you have to wait for a bugfix patch that appears to be not too far away as the support already announced that the devs got all the important information and that the next patch will be there soon.

 

regarding premium time:

As you will get back all gold and premium time you bought for the Closed Beta with the beginning of the Open Beta you won't lose any money while you can't play in the CBT test.

I was just informed from WG Team (head office Q&A), that this bug will be resolved with the server restart tomorrow morning. :bajan:
